Anytime I take pictures of my dolls it somewhat annoys me that the surface they're on usually doesn't look realistic because it is either out of scale or obviously a shelf or tabletop. Ikea makes a product named Rödeby that is a flexible armrest tray you can drape over a seat armrest. However, it can also be used as fake flooring for doll photoshoots, as its looks and dimensions are quite good for 1/3 to 1/4 scale. It is made from bamboo slats approx. 2.2 cm wide, corresponding to 6.5 to 9 cm at 1:1 scale, like a proper wooden floor. The mats are 65 x 37 cm each, making them large enough to host 1-3 dolls in close proximity on a single mat. They're also easy to store, and quite cheap (9.99 Euros a piece). There are two colours available, unpainted, and black. Today I bought three of the unpainted ones, and I will probably be getting three more. I'll post pictures later. -

Slight changes, but we have a general look: 100% certified bonkers. May or may not be the reincarnation of a certain 1990s live-action toku series villain, if the notes I took for her official introduction story are to be believed. Okami-hime has a different opinion about her, and I foresee a clash in the future. Speaking of wolf-girl, I just need to put her together really. Tengu-boy has gained a (extremely lame, maybe) name and has been merged with another concept. Leopard girl has somewhat changed characters and exists. Oni-chan has changed genders along the way, and still will be an Oni. Unnamed other fox youkai using not-okay bits for girl pictured above has a character concept (boss-ified Touhou minor character) and half of an outfit. Luluna remains a vampire, but is meandering back to her canon self. I also came up with an additional new fox youkai, called Ina Rico ("inari-ko"😅) who uses a MDD L-chest and is starting to come together really nicely: In the structure of the organisation she is part of, she performs the actions on the ground, tasked with convincing targets to come over to have a chat. I think violence may be involved if the organisation deems it necessary, but am not sure. One of the people at the top of the organisation said they would use coercion with a katana if I unveiled too much at this stage, and that sounds scary. -

Along with the new standard models, D’Coord is also getting an update at the DD Gathering on October 11th. This time, they’re adding heads DDH-28 and DDH-29 to the lineup, as well as new uniforms for boy bodies (including the MDD Integrated Asexual Type). Boys will also be added to the D’Coord selection at Tenshi no Sumika in Yokohama (although tbh I didn’t even realize that they weren’t part of the lineup there…) -

Prelude to new adventures in which our new fox boy takes the strings of fate into his hands and we also get some glimpses of some other new beasts (start reading at the right side because I'm a dumbass): Personal note: I am pretty shocked right now. Sinclair(-san?) started off with a pretty bland personality that amounted to "cute fox boy", but is affirming himself in unforeseen directions with the shocking news that he is part of an "organisation" (what kind?) together with at least two other newcomers (who are they?) that has a "plan" (a secret one? likely...but what is the objective?) and also has "rules" in place and some social interactions that do not fit in with their rather Western names. What is going on? Hopefully it won't take me another eight months or so for the follow-up...
