You’ll need a Greyforce adapter or similar to attach the head to the neck. Obitsu heads are not compatible with Dollfie Dream bodies out of the box. Idk about other brands—it might be cheaper and easier to find something on Taobao—but afaik Greyforce is only available on Yahoo Japan Auctions, so that’s an added hurdle. Definitely get someone on here to show you this combination before you commit because, as mentioned above, AP heads are much smaller and more mature-looking than DD heads, so it’s probably gonna look really odd unless you go with an Obitsu 50 head (Ellie or Nono). Tan skin is not compatible between brands so you’ll want to stick to Whitey/Flesh skin. -

Yeah I also found 30 posts to be difficult to reach without spamming. For the marketplace I don't mind a high requirement as it’s important those using it are actually invested members of the community, maybe it could go down to like 25 posts so it’s a bit easier to reach. But I don’t see why things like doll profiles, adding photos, signatures etc are locked behind this massive post requirement when they’re typically basic forum features you can access straight away on other sites. Maybe back in the day it was easy to reach this goal, but with only a handful of new posts in a day at most (not all of which you may want to reply to), it’s difficult to reach 30 posts unless you spam (which nobody wants) or wait around for ages for topics you can post in. I think lowering the requirements for more features to 10-15 would be better. It still encourages you to be active and engage with the community, but is actually obtainable within a week or so of frequent activity. -

I have been unable to find any photos of an angel philia head on an MDD - all Dollfie Dreams use an 8-9" head, and AP heads are (generally) two full sizes smaller at a 6-7", so I think neck fitment would be a pretty significant issue, to say nothing of the proportioning. This comment has an Iris Collect head on a DD body (7-8" head, ~57cm body) which is not the best point of reference but is probably a decent start. I think that a custom resin head would be one of your better options for a more mature look if you don't like any of the factory DD heads, although at that point an Obitsu or Imomo doll maybe a better choice since they cost about as much as a custom resin head with the current conversion rates. If you are quite fond of the MDD feel, resin heads will require an adapter to use with the MDD skeleton; I ordered mine from Taobao but they're fairly easy to find. On the flip side, I feel that several of the DD heads look quite mature - the DDH07 comes to mind in particular, as the eye opening is quite a bit smaller and the facial features are proportioned a bit more evenly than many of the common heads for MDDs. As a general rule, the bodysuits are fairly universally compatible - they're very stretchy. The V2 is quite a bit fuller coverage, which helps a lot with avoiding stains at the neck. -

It's been too long since I've done dolly photos. I have a new computer setup now, so I figured I'd give it a go with dolly photo tasks. For the tech-minded: I'm using Linux Bazzite now. I always liked using Irfanview on Windows, but Irfanview isn't available on Linux. I used Lutris to run a portable Irfanview via WINE. It works decently enough. Navigating to my drive for photos within Irfanview is a little weird because Linux puts it on this very Linux Z drive. I also haven't been able to figure out how to make it so that I can double click on a photo and it opens in Irfanview via WINE. Next time, I may try a similar program available on Linux natively. I could also try GNU Image Manipulation Program, also known as GIMP. I have it on Linux already, but as they say, GIMPin' ain't easy. I've used it on Windows plenty, but it's not as nice to use when you just want to do minor work on photos.
