We also have contamination OCD so we will give you some examples on what we do for our dolls! First since all the clothes our dolls wear are made by us we just hand wash them or put them in a little mesh bag and put them in the washing machine on delicate or casual. Second we always carry napkins or a white dish cloth that they sit on in public like at tables, bench, grass etc. Sometimes they don’t sit on a towel or napkin because we cleaned the table at whatever restaurant we’re eating at with Clorox wipes or seventh generation spray in a little spray bottle wipe clean and air dry completely before sitting them down. For our dolls carrying case we just Lysol the bottom of the bag. We haven’t tried spot cleaning the doll tote bag and carrying case yet so if anyone has tried that let us know:) For cleaning our dolls all we do is give them wipe downs with water and a wash cloth until the water looks clear. If we think something on their bodies are contaminated we take the frame out of whatever body part we want to wash and wash it with soap. For our plushies and other things we get we always just spray them with Lysol or wash them too but we can’t do that with dolls lol. For the dolls face we just give them a light wipe down with water and a soft cloth. We know that doing some of these things might seem crazy or useless to others but it works for us and helps us get through with our OCD. Even though we know it’s not ideal but we still do it lol. OG Miku and Snow Miku have the closest face ups in our opinion so she would work perfect for using her as an original. They also share the same skin tone “Semi white”. Sadly we don’t own the OG to compare side by side but we do own snow miku. It’s all about the eyes and wigs but it just depends on how you feel about using her. We think she would look great in the outfits you mentioned but it all depends on you! The only main difference would be her eyebrows and blue makeup above her eyes but she will look good either way! We hope this reply helps you in any way of deciding to get her! -

Does anyone have any pictures of the four big Chinese buns you can get from the Volks USA website? We really like the one kaito has in his hands in the model pictures but then when you read product details it states 4 random buns you can get. Does anyone own any of the four buns? We would love to see some pictures of the other variants before buying one and getting disappointed of the one that arrives. (*´∀｀*)(*´∀｀*) -

One point may be that aftermarket frame modifications possibly aren't allowed (Asachanchi's blog has multiple warnings on that for the Japanese Volks shows)..
