Bier is the treasurer of the local Paranormal Society. He's sensitive to supernatural phenomena, possibly psychic, but mostly keeps it to himself because he's embarrassed at being the center of attention. His growth is stunted, so he's often mistaken for a high schooler or even a middle schooler.

Above all else, Bier wants to be boring and ordinary. He's gone through a lot of his life trying to ignore the paranormal events surrounding him because acknowledging them makes him an object of suspicion and ridicule. He tries to remain mild and practical, but unfortunately tends to come across as somewhat weird anyways. He's jittery and easily embarrassed.

Likes to dress boring and neutral, but sometimes Mirin buys him colorful clothes that he feels like he has to wear out of gratitude.
