Tecra just showed up one day and decided to make my place her home.

I ordered a Rin Tohsaka on a whim.  I didn't expect to win the lottery.  I just tried because I wanted to try to win a lottery for a limited.  I was as shocked as anyone when I won.

Initially, my plan was to customize the doll to be the character of Enoby Darkness Dementia Raven Way from the infamous fanfic My Immortal.  However, when I saw Rin's face, I just couldn't do that to her.  At the same time, I didn't have any attachment to the Rin character, so the doll merely became the nameless new girl for a while.

Well, after the red eyes were installed, my partner started calling her Tecra.  This was the name of an old non-player character from a tabletop RPG game I had run back around 1990.  The NPC had been an evil, genocidal sorceress which served as a villain for one story arc.  For whatever reason, the name stuck to the doll.  She became Tecra.  She became a young and uncorrupted version of that NPC.

So, if Tecra has any backstory, it's that in an alternate reality from that old campaign I ran, she was a young apprentice sorceress.  Behind her master's back she was messing around with dimensional spells, and accidentally warped herself out of her own reality and onto my doorstep.

Tecra is highly intelligent, but has that all too common quality of nerds where her mind operates slightly out of sync with everyone else.  She comes across as strange and a little eccentric.

She used to be shy, but isn't really anymore.  She is however an introvert.  She socializes with the other girls in brief sessions and then retreats to be alone with her pets and read.

Tecra proclaims herself to be an evil sorceress.  In reality, she's one of the more open-hearted and compassionate girls.  She's also one of the most responsible and dilligent, as she dutifully takes care of her pets Moop and Venom.  

Strange things sometimes occur around Tecra.  It cannot be entirely discounted that she has sorcerous powers.

Tecra often dresses a tiny bit odd.  She doesn't see it as cosplay.

Tecra's favorite hobby is reading.  She particularly likes reading about and studying the supernatural.
