Kohaku lives in an apartment above the brick and mortar hobby shop her parents own. She is the primary care taker of her cousin Basil.
On occasion she helps in the shop with her expansive knowledge of plastic modelling tools and materials. She is a photojournalist by trade and gets in fights with the local newspaper over fair payment of editorial shots frequently.

Once in Kohaku will help out by taking pictures of her friend's vintage car club.
