Miriam is the daughter of a relatively well off family, starting the year in a secondary boarding school, in many ways her first time truly far from home. She is worried how others will think of her, but is sure she'll at least be ready for the academic side. Though she finds higher mathematics intimidating, and several of her new classes have to do with it.

She finds meaningful friendships in her teachers, and several of the girls who live in her dormitory. The culture of the school feeling more welcoming than her old public school experiences.

She also gets her first job in lieu of clubs after school, wanting extra money to fund her hobbies and allowing her to get snack foods like Shrimp Chips. She works as a Convenience store clerk for a few hours in the afternoon.

A sweet if a little skittish girl, she has a passion for her studies, and an uncertain relationship with new people. She does her best to be a good friend to those who are close to her, though can occasionally forget to keep in touch when involved in school projects or study. Has a habit of chewing on her thumbnails when nervous, and often has to stop herself from bouncing her legs when in class. Very smiley when she's gotten to know someone.

While she does have a secret love for Visual Kei styling, her personal style outside of school uniforms, is layered clothing in a variety of styles and coloring. Often gravitating to soft comfy coats, dresses and skirts, and hats.

Miriam has a love of painting, and building model Gundam kits. She is a little embarrassed about her hobby, but she and her father would do them together, and when she got an allowance she would often end up spending it on Gunpla sets.

Her other hobbies are following Visual Kei bands on social media, and discussing with online friends on forums about her favorites.
