This doll actually belongs to my 4yr old. Untill she is old enough to come up with Gwen’s story I will tell you how Gwen came to be & how she has been there for my daughter.

I was working on face ups as practice, when my 4yr old fell in love with the face up & called her Gwen. I couldn’t bring myself to whip her face, so I asked doll collector friends what I should do & they all said to keep the face up & let my daughter have her. I had planned to swap her head on to my oldest daughter’s cocoa doll’s body. Looking on Facebook a couple of days later I found a reasonable priced cocoa body. 
 

I had finished Gwen the day before my 4yr old daughter’s hand surgery. She had to have trigger finger & trigger thumb surgery. Gwen went with her so that she wasn’t afraid. My daughter was upset that she had to have her hand wrapped after the surgery, Gwen threw her a tea party.
