Don't ask Ventyri. She'll just walk away.

Encountered on the outskirts of Prosperios, Ventyri comes from the wastelands. Given her tight-lipped nature, little about her past has been established except that she is a succubus and a mercenary to boot. A fearful creature built of force and muscle, she will render unsuspecting prey to roadkill beneath her boot if not restrained. All of the party are somewhat afraid of her.

And for good reason. Originally hired by an unknown source to undo Paladin's personal creations, she soon found herself surrounded by enticing targets. A wayward alien. A living wish. There was too much going on here to leave be. And so it was that she came to understand their perspective. To appreciate the purpose of Paladin's work. Slowly, begrudgingly, they won her over to their side.

She is one of the least-outgoing of the flatmates, but still very much present, choosing to dwell within Paladin's hideaway beneath the city. Under her watchful eye their plans are conducted, and she takes special interest in it all.

Stern, fierce, and forward. These are words to describe her. She's gone by several names, but the drowic 'Ventyri' is the most frequent. Also known as 'The Iron Scorpion' towards the west, she apparently gained a reputation as a pitfighter, and has shown no sign of pursuing anything but aggression.

However aggression is far from her default setting. At rest she is quiet, selectively conversational, and has a reserved but wry sense of humor. She takes all things in stride, ever planning ahead. Daily training is her ritual, and if she cannot be challenged in something on a weekly basis, she considers the time wasted.

Although she is not particularly artistic, she has a healthy appreciation for Aetherios' paintings and the girls' crafts. She considers each of them her responsibility, particularly the 'soft' ones.

Nemicus earns a kind of mutual respect as a fellow vampire, but their relationship is very cool.

She has taken a special interest in Sundae, whom she believes was modeled on a sucubus rather than an elf as was assumed. Wishes embodied as living beings are rarities, and she intends to learn all she can. Instructing Sundae in natural magic has been the first step.

Of all the party, Ventyri connects with Paladin best due to their mutual pessimistic and skeptical nature. Both believe in remaining several steps beyond, expecting the worst, and questioning everything. She is one of the few to tolerate his endless griping, and take his advanced machinations seriously. In turn, he offers her more than just his baseline respect.

Tank tops, belts, close-fitting clothes that allow good movement. Leather.  As a mercenary, she must keep both motion and protection in mind, always. You will seldom see her in truly casual clothing.
