Wherever there is prosperity, there is greed. And wherever success rises, jealousy lies in its shadow. Someone hired a mercenary to target Paladin. But she didn't follow through. A replacement would have to found.

Llewyr was that replacement. A staunch combatant of the gruff variety, pursuit is never a matter of 'if' but 'when'. While lacking the prowess or the wisdom of Ventyri, when it comes to physicality he is every inch her equal, and far more ruthless. No code of honor does he bear, no coat of arms clasps his shoulder. He is one man out for himself, and he will win at any cost. Whenever the friends quash his efforts, like a cockroach he crawls out of the debris to terrorize again. Paladin had given up on getting rid of him; it became a matter of trying to work around his interruptions.

At least, before The Gilded Cup got involved.

Llewyr dislikes homonculi. Blatantly. And he's 'interesting'; a foreigner amongst the Propserian upper class. Vesper is a homonculus; a fusion of alchemy and magic. And she likes interesting people. So when he crashed one of her shifts, hot on Paladin's heels, she didn't hesitate to grab his attention. He hated that. Still doesn't know how to feel about it, actually. But it's too late now. She has latched onto him like a leech, and despite every effort to intimidate her, more often than not she gets the best of him. Why she speaks to him like a friend, he just can't fathom. And she's insatiable. Introducing her to the mix single-handedly reduced his effectiveness by a percent. But the whole teahouse is involved. Now they know his face, and they can raise alarms with the friends any time they see him.

Stubborn as he is impatient, Llewyr is a forward individual and a nasty opponent. He is neither above cheating nor hurting others to obtain his ends, though he does appear to have some grasp of conscience, contributing his earnings to the less fortunate from time to time. Boundaries do not usually deter him, and he threatens the officers and lords of Prosperios at bladepoint should they inconvenience him. Still no smart man wants to go to war with a city, and as a rule he skirts around patrols and sticks to harassing Paladin and the company as much as possible.

He has a particular discomfort towards Vesper, who asks too many personal questions, while viewing Ventyri as a worthy rival he'd make a good name with should he defeat her. The others he considers little, save for Paladin and his body of work. The little snot punched a big hole through his abdomen with those gauntlets once. Not the kind of defeat he'll live down easily.

With some prodding, he does possess a mild if grim sense of humor. But his chief feature is an overarching sense of desperation. He must complete his missions. He must obtain payment. It is all... or it is nothing.

Loose cargo / harem pants, pants with extra pockets, linen wraps, hoods, tank tops, scarves and layers, gloves, combat boots, chains and fishnets. High-fantasy-meets-cyberpunk. Leaning more towards the cyberpunk.

He's proficient with guns, but his favorite weapons are a pair of laser blades he carries on high-paying missions. All the better to stab you in the back with, my Dear.
