Katya here is definitely my favorite, but most of that is personal attachment. DDs and AZO2s have slightly different bodies, with one edging out the other here or there in build quality, but on the whole I'd say it's a wash. Whether you like one or the other really just comes down to taste, and who looks better to you.
As a general rule I feel like the Volks bodies have slightly higher durability and somewhat more flexible posing, but Azone really shines with the wigs. IMO they're the best on the market, far better than the basic Volks ones, and they're comparatively difficult to get hold of outside of buying the doll - there's shops that carry the Azone Beshine wigs but the selection is typically fairly limited at a given time.
I personally also prefer the much simpler head joint over the Dollfie's weird spine thing, but it's got less range of motion. Azone joints are also likely to wear out or crack over time, in particular old ones that have been sitting in their box for ages often have cracked shoulders. BUT replacement joints/hands/etc are cheaper than Dollfie parts.
Volks definitely has nicer clothing than the Azone stuff though, which is generally somewhat cheap. But it's also, you know, cheap, so you can buy more outfits. Unfortunately the aftermarket for Azone isn't quite as good, though, so you're more dependent on official stuff. But they also make a pretty good variety, so I'll see something I want at least once a month.
