(on Obitsu GGR, AZO2 and Angel Philia) I've been down this rabbit hole, and the answer is: mostly no, but some stuff can work. While these bodies are curvy and have larger busts, that's only part of the whole picture. Compared to these, a DDS has... A much longer torso. Girthy arms, broader shoulders, broader neck. This is overlooked. Longer legs. Some of the smaller clothes may work, but there's so much more surface area in a DDS that the clothes just don't work all that great on smaller dolls, no matter how curvy they are. What clothes fit on Azone 45cm? Your best bet is MDD and DDP clothing. The fit will be similar to MDD (M) rather than MDD (S), so watch out on tight fitting garments made specifically for the S bust. Tops will run shorter and can sometimes barely cover the waist. Obitsu 48/50 clothes can sometimes work, but the sleeves will be too long, and bottoms can also look a little too big. What tops fit on 48-50cm dolls? 1) Tops on Small/Medium Busts (Obitsu S/M, AZO2 C, Angel Philia H2/H/C1/I) On normal sized busts, you have many options. Azone tops fit the best. Short Sleeves - Many MDD tops will fit, but the hem may be short Long Sleeves - Tops designed for Obitsu & Azone will fit the best. Long-sleeved MDD/DDP tops will be too short in the sleeves and may run short in the torso. Besides Azone, LittleWonder carries tops made specifically for Obitsu. (Difference in sleeve length between MDD and Obitsu tops) 2) Tops on Large Busts (Obitsu L, AZO2 G/I, Angel Philia G) Your options are limited since these sizes are too big for most MDD-sized clothing and not sized properly for SD & DD-sized clothing. Most clothing that fits well will be from Azone's AZO2 line. Baggy MDD clothing can sometimes work. LittleWonder also makes clothing for this size. Some DD clothing may fit acceptably if it's sized for SS/S, but tops will run long and feel oversized. What bottoms fit on 48-50cm dolls? 1) Bottoms on Obitsu 48/50 Most MSD/MDD skirts fit but will run short. Azone skirts will fit the best. LittleWonder makes a line of compatible skirts specifically for Obitsu in varying lengths (mini, mid, long). Some MDD shorts fit, but I've found that getting them past the legs is a challenge. Nine9 and TTYA make shorts, but between the two, I've had better luck getting the Nine9 ones up and less luck with the TTYA denim ones. 2) Bottoms on Angel Philia-C Angel Philia C has moderately slim hips but thicker legs. They'll fit into most MSD/MDD skirts, but they'll sit higher and run even shorter than on O48-50. No shorts will fit on AP-C. MDD shorts won't pass through the legs unless they're designed for Mochiashi, but DD shorts will be oversized. If your girl wants to wear shorts, avoid this size. 3) Bottoms on AZO2 / Angel Philia H or I Shorts The Azone denim shorts, while simple, are cheap, easy to find and fit well due to their elasticity. TTYA or Nine9 make nice pairs, but they can run tight on Angel Philia. They fit fine on AZO2. Skirts AZO2 skirts fit the best. They slip up the legs and are just the right waist size. DD and SD skirts will be too big and feel out of scale. SD ones are even worse in that they'll sit low on the hips. I don't recommend MDD skirts. Getting them past the legs is tough. They'll be micro-mini length unless that's what you're after. What shoes fit on Obitsu 45-50cm? Just get Volks MDD shoes. Obitsu feet are advertised as 6cm in size vs 5cm for MDD and 5.5cm for DDP. However, I find that Azone-made shoes run small, despite being made for Obitsu feet. Every pair of Volks MDD shoes I've gotten fits well, especially those that are advertised as fitting both DDP & Mochiashi feet. Non-Volks Shoes made for MDD are hit and miss. (I check the fit on Azone, Volks and other shoes in a dedicated post) Measurements Disclaimer: These measurements were pulled from a mix of sources + my own measurements as a basis for comparison. I don't guarantee their full accuracy. Volks MDD (f3 1.0) Hips: 18.5cm Waist: 13.5cm Bust: 15.5cm/17cm/18cm Arm Length: 12cm Thigh Circumference: 11cm (13cm for mochi) Azone 45 Hips: 21.0cm Waist: 14.0cm Bust: 17.5cm Arm Length: 13.5cm Thigh Circumference: ~12.5cm (estimate) Obitsu 48/50 Hips: 20.0cm Waist: 13.0cm Bust (S/M/L): 17.0cm(?)/18.5cm/20.25cm Arm Length: 15cm Thigh Circumference: 12.8cm Azone AZO2 Hips: 23.5cm Waist: 14.0cm Bust (C/G/I): 18.75cm/22cm/23cm Arm Length: 15.5cm Thigh Circumference: 14.8cm Angel Philia Hips (H/C): 23.5cm/21.5cm Waist (H/C): 14.0cm/13.8cm Bust (H2/H/C5): 19cm(?)/20cm/21cm Arm Length: 15cm Thigh Circumference (H/C): 15.5cm/13.6cm AP torso numbers run 1cm higher due to a "thick" trunk but are shaped similar to Obitsu S/M/L busts. "C" torsos are close to O50 dimensions and wear most O50/MDD bottoms while "H" torsos wear DD bottoms like AZO2. Volks DDP Hips: 21.0cm Waist: 13.5cm Bust: 17.5cm Arm Length: 13.5cm <-- (This is MUCH shorter than the Obitsu, so watch out when buying long sleeve shirts that fit a DDP) Thigh Circumference: ??? DDP vs MDD comparison photo - Arm length up to the wrist is about the same - Upper torso length is the same. Lower torso is longer. - DDP is most similar to Azone 45 but with longer legs and a differently proportioned torso. - Foot size comparison Volks DDS Hips: 23.0cm Waist: 15cm Bust: 21.5cm (M) Arm Length: 16cm Thigh Circumference: 14.5cm

Since I've bought an Dollfie Sister, I decided to get an bust for her, type L, but before affording it, I need to know the bust measurements, not for lingeries actually, but to her shirt to fit correctly, since the shirt seems enough for M bust but idk the difference between L and M bust cirbleepferences, so if anybody has a DDS with Large bust I'd be happy to know the cirbleepference of L type ^^

Hello all! I recently got obsessed with Marcille and Falin from Dungeon Meshi. If you don't know the series, Marcille is a talented but flappable elf mage, and Falin is a ditzy genius cleric. Falin is the sort of character who keeps her eyes closed most of the time. I intend to represent her with a modded DDH-27 closed-eye. My intention is to manipulate the vinyl with a heat gun, soldering iron, dremel, and sandpaper to make a closed-eye head that looks like a sleeping doll. I recall someone telling me that there were parts of a DD head that could be "harvested" with a x-acto knife and melted down to fill in the pits around the eyes. Can any of y'all offer help, resources, or advice of your own? Many thanks in advance! (I have represented Marcille with a Gokidoll Miimy on an imomodoll body similar to an MDD mochi ashi. I intend to put Falin on the semi-white MDD mochiashi/DDS hybrid body I made (check my post history for the tutorial/pics if you're curious.)

Hi, in the future I'd like to make a DDS DDDY hybrid specifically M torso - arms - calf DDS and lower torso - thighs DDDY Does anyone knows if i'll have to Frankenstein the frame to make it possible? I know I'll probably have to cut the vinyl of the torso to make it fit with the lower part but otherwise it's a blur on the way to go 🫠 Any guidance is appreciated, thank you!

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't sure if I should've put it in the DD or Obitsu section but I went with DD since it made more sense to me. I was wondering, would anyone happen to have any pictures of a AP bust on a DDS? I've seen a pic of AP busts on a DD but not a DDS. I am especially curious about how the G bust and C2 bust compare to the DDS M bust since I like the shape of those the most.

Hello! I'm hoping to start a thread to show the dolls I've gotten (if that's alright!)~ Mostly DDs, but I have a few Smart Dolls I might get around to taking pictures of eventually 😄 Hopefully I'll have all of them posted here by the end of the month! (And hopefully I've figured out how to use Flickr by then... 😅) As of right now, everyone's using random wigs and eyes until I get their final ones in September (hopefully)! I'm trying to experiment with editing a bit on phone pictures according to each girl's style 😄 Here's Vera Lexington, my DDdy Towa! She likes lolita outfits and she'll probably have a big of a magical girl theme! She's wearing the Volks Peach Pink Lolita (?) DDdy outfit! It came with my secondhand D'Coord 😄 It's missing the hat, but it's still pretty cute! Her wig is this one from Volks! And her eyes are her defaults (Volks Animetic Type-J Akane 22mm) Sorry if the quality isn't that great 😦 I don't have my DSLR right now, but I'm honestly convinced my phone takes better pictures at this point since it's just an old Nikon D3300

My Len's wig was looking a tad rough, so I wanted to try and fix it up just a bit. I took out the rubber band on the wig to try redoing it, but couldn't seem to get it right. Kept ending up looking about the same, just with less stray hair strands poking out. The ponytail always just ends up curling heavily to the left, right or even under itself. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to get his wig looking more like the official images? How would I go about making the ponytail more centered, so it doesn't heavily lean to one side of his head? I'd be happy with most any wig styling tips to be honest, I'm just having a difficult time with that ponytail. I've fixed/redone my Miku's wigs quite a few times, but this one has been so much harder. Did I make a mistake by even removing the band at all? 😓 I have a feeling I should probably get some kinda hairspray or gel, but wanted to ask around here first to see what anyone might suggest. Don't think I've unlocked the picture uploading feature here yet, so I hope I'm getting things across well with just my words. Thanks in advance for any help!

I saw these soft-vinyl DDS parts on Booth and they seemed really interesting! They are designed to allow for more flexibility/poseability. There's a preview video on Youtube demonstrating it. Would anyone know if these would they happen to be recasts (aka not ethical) or do they just happen to be original (aka ethical) 3rd party custom parts (in similar vein to silicone busts or jointed hands)?

I've recently become somewhat interested in unitorsos! However I couldn't really find the info I was looking for when I was searching it up so I wrote down a few questions. I'm mostly curious about the visual aspects and differences of the unitorsos in comparison to each other and the two piece torso (aside from the obvious difference with the seams). Is there a difference between the DD and DDS unitorsos? Are there differences between bust molds ? For example Volk's photo of the DD L bust unitorso looks more natural than the DD L bust piece imo. I cant tell if this is just because of the angle. Thanks in advance! Any comments & photo references are much appreciated!

I saw someone else do this on the forum and thought hey, why not! A good way to share my photos without having to make a whole new thread. I figured I would start with a fan favourite of my group- Mayumi! she has to be one of my most known girls. She was one of the first mochi in NA and just kinda kept her popularity since then. I even had people message me upset when they thought I repainted her. 😅 Anyway, I hope this keeps me consistent with posting!

I ordered her a few weeks ago from Ayumist and got a surprise package today! EMS tracking doesn't like to update 😅 I got her on the DD Sister body. I have another DC-H 24 in semi-white, makeup #03. To my surprise, makeup 01 has painted teeth as well, which I never really saw in the promo photos (and that's actually why I originally got an m03) I can't seem to get a good picture of her teeth that doesn't look cursed 🤣 so... take this one Next to my SWS DDdy 24 M03: 👋 Tan is an absolutely gorgeous colour in person! I love my DDS body, but something I've been noticing as time goes by is that the waist of all the clothing is so loose as it was made for DD body. It seems the only place I can find DDS clothing is Volks and they don't have a ton of clothing compared to other sites. Anyone have any tips or tricks for DD clothes on DDS, or any shops that make DDS clothing? I'd even like to know of any doll clothes that could fit DDS that were made for other dolls not in the DD line if they exist:)

My first dd! Ive had smds mostly so it was kinda nervous ordering her. She looks wayy cuter in person! I love that dress on her. While opening her though i didnt realize there was sharpie on my hands, theres a tiny stain on her arm from it. Does anyone know how to get it out?

So, I own 4 smart dolls, but have never owned a dollfie dream before. I am looking to create 2 characters from the base body parts, both a DD-f3 frame, one a DDS, the other a DD. I'd like one body, however, to have the wider hips of the DD while having the shorter legs of the DDS, and vice versa. Basically, I'd like to do a leg swap to make one character fuller in figure and the other more lanky. Is it possible to swap the legs between the DDS and DD on the f-3 frame?

I apologize if this has already been asked. I have been looking at the Dolk's website and curious if their eyes of 20mm would work in a DDS, DD, or MDD? I think the iris may be too small, but hard to tell. The Dolk Tokyo store doesn't have 20mm or higher when we've gone. What would be the best iris size to eyeball size for a dollfie? I am looking for a more realistic eye or something with more sparkle to it. I just feel my Volks eyes are flat. Thank you.

...except DDdy which is the same height as DD so it doesn't count, I'm not saying this because I don't regret skipping the 2B preorder >_> DD, DDS, DDP, MDD, figma by bodolza, on Flickr From left to right, DD Miku, DDS Melty (on f3 body), DDP Iori Minase, MDD DDH-10, figma Megumin! for scale. Iori has a really small head. That wig kept falling off so I tried a silicone wig cap which worked great, except the fringe kind of floats in front of her face (generally a good thing) and ends up looking more like a bowl cut (generally not a good thing). I used just a touch of Volks' Wig Treatment stuff to try and style it; in person it looks pretty good but I'll spend more time later to see what I can do.
