hey y’all ^^ I’ve got a problem and I really don’t know what to do. I got a Kan’u second hand for a good bit of shmoney… just for her to arrive with like comically loose knees and thighs. I tried contacting the seller and they have yet to answer which ofc I understand bc people have lives and i’ve been guilty of not responding/seeing messages till someone double texts. Anyways, do y’all think it’d be worth trying to get a new Dddy frame for her and just replace her old one? She also lacks a bit of articulation shoulder wise. I know I’d def have to dye the joints but then again… I don’t know if i’ve ever seen a Dollfie frame without the vinyl bits on it besides when they’re showing new frames ? Can you tell i’m still really new to this hobby lol. Okay! I’ll leave this here and hope it’s somewhat comprehensive.

This is my first post so I apologize if this has been asked before, I tried looking for a topic on this and couldn't find much. I recently purchased a MDD body at a good price because of it's age and loose joints. I'm always up for a project and at it's price, I wasn't going to pass up my chance at finally getting into vinyl dolls. (I've been in the resin BJD hobby for years now) The joints that seem to be loose are...everywhere. It's not terrible at the shoulders and hips, but the knees buckle very easily and the ankles are very floppy. I was told the hips could probably be fixed with some clear nail polish, but the knees and ankles would be a different problem altogether. Basically there's a few things I would like to know: 1.) If there's an easy fix to any of these, please let me know. 2.) It seems that Volks is only selling MDDIII and MDDf3 frame parts now. Is there any compatibility between the parts? 3.) Is there any parts that may replace the mechanisms that aren't from Volks but are meant to fix body issues? (Kind of like the replacement neck piece that coolcat has)
