So I'm sure you can guess by the title, but I'm struggling to find an artist to do face-ups. examples are shown below. (at least, I don't have access to taobao nor xianyu so I can't really speak with them, and will be unable to do so due to lack of passport). I was thinking of using a proxy instead (like superbuy) but every artists i looked into either has it closed, wanted the face plates to be shipped to them, or they just don't do it anymore. I'm not sure where else I could do or find out more about it. (I did do some face-ups on my own but I'm not liking my final results tbh) ^^;; I don't really mind the costs either.

After seeing Oculae's Poppy I really wanted to make a little Cyclops of my own. But I'm trying not to buy more dolls until I use what I have. And what I had was a dyed body and an under head, which I'd forgotten the dye minute for the body. So I tried to blush the head to match. Its... ok. Im hoping the unevenness will be hidden by her wig when I make it. Also one of her shoulder joints snapped off clean as I was making her clothes. She's becoming a real project doll, but I'm trying to trust the process. I've pinned her sleeve so she's a one armed girl for now. Today I'm makeing yarn weft to give her some hair. Then I have have to decide what to do with her hands. The original set turned green when I dyed them brown, and paint flaked off. I'm thinking maybe dye them black so she's wearing gloves? I'm going for a Japanese Steampunk look for her. I found an amazing costumer on pinterest that inspired me. Hopefully she'll come together in the end!

A quick and dirty comparison between Teennar, pennys box, and obitus/obitsu competitors. Companies in order of first photo. Pennys box adou, obitsu, pb antu, pb school haunting, teennar, adou on a yomane 12cm body, parabox on yomane 10cm, 3d printed head on yomane 12cm They come in a lot of shapes. I love that the Penny's box and Teennar dolls *have* shape and aren't the straight sticks obitsu and their competitors are. Gives us more variety. Pennys box white(specifically the Haunting series) is the closest to obtisu whitey. While Teennar matches obitsu normal pretty close. Pennys box normal is too yellow. It looks like pennys box white and teennar are the same color in the photos, but they're not. Side notes, the naked mjd bodies are from the company Yomane. The tan body is from the pennys box Adou series, he's sewn into his clothes for a comission so I'm not taking him apart, but he's very similar to the Haunting series, with the main difference being a single piece torso thats closer in shape to the Antu bodies.
