I thought I'd make a little photo journal for my customs and such. I tend to document my process pretty heavily, so do bear with me and all the photos. First up, I got an Imomodoll Canis head off ebay, with a faceup already done on him. I decided to name him Westley. He didn't come with these eyes, they're little plush pillow-y things I stitched up and embroidered really quickly. They don't fit that well, but they were better than nothing. I tend to make mock-ups before I customize dolls, and my girlfriend likes to help. So we'll usually go through several passes of designs together. Left is my initial mockup, and right is her improved one. I'm not very used to anime-style things, so she was a big help for this and one of my other faceups! First layer! I would go back in with heavier pastels and add the eyebrows in the second layer. And the finished face! He probably could have used another pass to add more purple/black to his eyebags, but I'm chronically impatient and the hour wait between MSC sprays kills me. Plus I live in a place with really inclement weather, so I just have to work when I can. I already have eyebases on the way for Westley to make him some custom ones that fit the concept art, but as for a body...well. I don't know if any resin bodies would fit tan, and the Imomodoll 68 body seems far away... Did you know one of my favorite movies is John Carpenter's The Thing? I....miiiiiight be making him a body based on that....

It’s been awhile since I’ve been on this site! I figured I should show you guys my lovely boy! from awhile ago. Was experimenting with his hair in my dorm. I’m still too chicken to bring a pair of scissors anywhere near him, but I’m trying to make his less-than-ideal wig work. Once it started getting warm, I took him outside with my big camera! I was still on campus at this point, so I was getting a few looks from people as I did this LMAO my cutie patootie 🥺 and finally, my kaito after a LONG night at Miku Expo! both he and I were disheveled as hell and i lost my voice completely that night, but I wouldn’t trade the experience for a thing. I was fully decked out in Kaito stuff (happi coat and all!) and traded pins/merch with lots of different fans! I definitely want to get more nice photos of my boy, when I go back to campus next month I’ll have to find some secluded spots so frat boys don’t giggle at me LMAOOO

UWAAAAH MY KAITO CAME HOME YESTERDAY! I don’t have my nice camera with me right now so have some pics I took with my phone! Here, have some flowers as a warm welcome! We all know Kaito loves ice cream ^^ he is my new snuggle buddy c: He sat with me while I had dinner too! :D

Hello! I've been really busy and hadn't have the chance to post here and look at posts. However, buying a limited edition DD BJD based from a Japanese video game costs an arm and a lag! But DD Kirika Towa Alma from Shining Resonance finally came! She is very beautiful and worth every penny! She came to my home back in July 9! Volks Inc. Dollfie Dream boxes are very tall and huge! She comes complete in box with the exception of her original blue butterfly hair clip. A 3D printed white butterfly hair clip serves as a replacement and it looks nice! I took a decent amount of photos of my DD Kirika, but she is not travel ready yet. Because, I need to buy some DD hands, a stand, and maintenance supplies. I'm experienced owning a BJD, since I used to have a SMD Mirai before sending her to a new home. Now I'm just focusing on Dollfie Dream in general and plan to buy a few more DDs. DD Kirika Towa Alma is truly a keeper! And she is a underrated character from a underrated JRPG series! Are there other suggestions to buy more essential things for my first Dollie Dream? Thank you!
