Miki meets Mirai at Anime Expo

This is kind of a story and photo thread:

 

My name is Miki. This year, I went to Anime Expo in Los Angeles.

 

I met a girl named Mirai of Danny Choo's Culture Japan fame. I told her all about all the cool people I met online. She was glad her site helped people find each other.

 

Here is a closeup of her.

 

Mirai encourages people to be brave and make friends. It can be hard to start talking but it is worth it if you find wonderful friends. I appreciate her message.

 

This is the "Doll Tower" (I nicknamed it that). It was a perfect meeting place. It stood out really well as a landmark.

 

 

It can be spotted from a distance.

 

It was a Dollfie Dream magnet. This little lady is from the TechnoHornist household.

I met a few others while I was there. Everyone was really nice. The staff at the Culture Japan booth were lots of fun too!

 

On a side note, this is my friend Jedi Aoi.

 

It seemed like she might have some work to do to clear out bad siths and stuff like that.

 

But these guys just cosplaying.

 

The place was so crowded on Saturday.

After meeting Mirai, I think she is really sweet. I hope that lots of people consider bringing her into their homes. I hope she inspires everyone to get out there and have fun.

Thank you, Eiko82 and foo! I am glad you liked the photos. haha That is so sweet of you, foo. Miki is always happy when people think she is cute. Mirai is lovely in person. Her expression evokes a sense of calm. She just seems so kind and sweet.

I desperately want the clear version with the robotics! Eeeee! Can you imagine how cool that would be to see her working inside??

Many in Japan are excited about the clear one too. It will be released eventually. I think it looks so cool!

I love your Miki, she is so beautiful. She's so unique compared to the others I have seen. >w< I also really like the pictures you got of the "clear" Mirai. That's so cool, and a little freaky. Haha. Looks like you and Miki had fun!

Thank you, Arienette! I wish you could have come too. Events are fun because of the people you enjoy them with. The clear one would look extra cool with a Terminator like "metal" skeleton!

Maybe one day I will get to go to something with you! That would be so fun. >__< Yeah, she would! There are a lot of sci-fi and fantasy things that could be done with the clear version. ^__^
