Sabrina and the Saber Sister Singers

Well, this time its part dress up, and part introduction shooting...

 

Returning to my penchant of naming my ladies by Audrey Hepburn characters this time the selector stopped on Sabrina for the latest arrival. Technically I had reserved this before for another possible purchase, but if that ever happens that one's planned name has changed freeing this one up.

 

The new arrival being Ranko Kanzaki (#26) which I was lucky enough to win in the lottery after two strikes and one win by default. I also have her optional gothic lolita outfit, but considering the heat and humidity at the moment here Im not risking putting that one on her quite yet.

 

As background singers a few other purchases alongside lady arttuuria that have been patiently waiting a chance to get infront of the camera, Elizabeth (alter 2nd normal), and Albert (the blue eyed one)... these two were on hold waiting for something else to be aquired, but as that has been postponed for now, after months sitting on the shelf, I decided now was as good a time to have some fun with them.

Photos edited for white balance since lighting was to say the least.. colorfulm since im not really equipped to do two tier stuff with this many ladies.

Also Albert is borrowing Delias SWS-body, otherwise she'd already be #27... heh.

Wow, that's a lot of girls to pose at the same time! Great job on getting them to all work so well together. The back-up singers especially -- they do seem to be "moving" as a cohesive unit.

mmm, they were a bit of a handfull, since four ladies without outside support, with the exception of some bluetack on Sabrina's (Ranko) shoes for added friction, also her body despite being factory fresh seems oddly floppy for a DDS (unfortunately dinged her wing on one side-dive, but luckily not so you'd immediately notice)... also the raised stage in the back wasnt as stable as I wanted and Arttuuria seemed to have a thing of wanting to jump Sabrina whenever she got the chance... heh.

 

mm, blue-eyed Albert.. I had been trying to find a good pair of blue's for her for some time now. The few Twin-snow one's I have are too big, volks one's are all too bright, and finally settled on these mystery resin one's that are almost where I want be, but not perfect.. but such is life when you start to customize a girl..

Mmm, Ranko did come out rather nicely for these, although I have to admit I personally wasn't as happy posing her as I have been with my previous DDS's... I think they are starting to make the bodies a bit more loose now. Could have also been her weird platform shoes, but I was lacking the same confidence I had with Delia (Mariko student) on the same glass before.

 

and yea, the sabers do take up some attention, but when I came up with the background singer idea I really wanted to have the three together, despite having Albert on a wrong body... maybe more of them once I get a proper WS-DDS body for her.

Well, this set was more frustrating that tiring, because it felt like the dolls didn't want to co-operate at all on occasion. But it made the more successful poses that more rewarding in the end.

 

I dunno, I just like to get the most out of a given setup, even if that gives my shoots a bit of a wholesale feeling, since I also don't like to be neurotic about having every photo I take a to be piece of art.

 

Then there is the odd occasion where it all just wants to progress with the poses, and it'll stop when Im just out of new ideas.

These are wonderful! I love the group posing, looks like everyone is having so much fun!

Haha, I bet! Handling one girl for a shoot is hard enough. But it really turned out well worth it!
