Ryomou visits the Yakima Arboretum!

Our city could really use more parks methinks.

 

Anyways, I decided that it had been far too long since I did a proper photoshoot with my girls. So last Wednesday I decided to take Ryomou to the arboretum to do a nice photoshoot with her.

 

Then it rained. Hard.

 

It was sunny and around 90 degrees all day. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, clouds rolled in. Mou was definitely unhappy about it, and demanded that I take some pictures of her because I insisted on dressing her up like that and taking her in public. I would like to do a "Version 2" of this someday because there are so many great places to take pictures out there, but I just didn't have the weather on my side, But I did get these...

 

Ryomou was pretty unsure of the look I'd picked out for her, but she managed to keep her spirits up, even after the clouds rolled in.

 

We had come into a field of crabbapples that they grow there (Very tiny, bitter inedible apples) and stopped just in time to see the clouds break and get a bit of sunshine in the distance.

 

The outfit she's wearing is the Volks Sugar White Lolita, I had wanted it for ages, but only recently found one. ^_^

 

Ryomou had decided to take a break and climb a tree so she could yell at the cars driving on the road nearby.

 

Ryomou: "Hey idiot! Slow down! Children play here! This isn't the indy Moron!"

 

 

Right about this time, the wind started picking up, I knew we'd have to be leaving soon. ToT

 

At least to end it all, I managed to get an "Operatic" pose in front of the fountain.

 

About that time we had to take off, the wind had picked up and the rain really started coming down. Hopefully I can find a day with some nice weather.

Awww Ryomou is so sweet dressed like that. I guess her behavior is more assertive than her outfit suggests though. haha She looks beautiful in white. The colors of her hair and eye show up so well when she is wearing white like that. She looks great out in nature. It is cool she can climb a tree in tall shoes like that. I love the music notes along her stockings. It is such a great outfit put together like that. I hope you get a chance to go back again and take your time. hmmm I wonder what Ryomou's singing is like. Can she win a karaoke contest?

I just love, love, LOVE the Sugar White Lolita set! And it looks great on Ryomou. And those shoes and stockings rock! The music notes are a very cool touch, I like those quite a lot.

 

It sucks your photo time got cut short by rain but at least you got *some* time with Mou-chan.

 

Parks can be hard to come by for sure, especially ones that aren't covered with screaming kids. Hopefully you can get back to this one when the weather is better so you can get even more pics of Ryomou.

Thanks Billy! I can't remember which of your girls I saw it on first, (Probably your Ryomou) But I wanted one ever since. The stockings were a chance find on coolcats. (multiple colors too ^_^)

 

Yeah, the rain was a problem. But I did have a fun afternoon with Mou-chan. The parks around here usually don't have any kids in them luckily. I did get some questions from some nice people curious about ryomou though. ^_^ I plan to go back soon. Maybe after the leaves start turning for a Halloween photoshoot.
