Resin dolls anybody?

As some of us are also involved in resin BJD, I think it could be great to open a thread for them.

It could be interesting to see how many people have, from a DD based communauty.

I have 4 resin BJD. A SD10, a SDGr, and 2 YoSD. All volks dolls

I enjoy them a lot, and for me they are different in style and personnality than my DD.

I own 11 resins currently, 3 RingDoll Teens (63cm), 1 Illusion Spirit 1/3 boy, 1 Illusion Spirit 1/4 boy, 1 DollZone 1/4 boy, 3 Angel of Dream 1/4 girls, 1 Angel of Dream 1/4 boy and 1 Angell-Studio 1/4 girl.

 

However, I've always admired Vinyl dolls, so I always enjoy when a friend in our local meet-up group brings his girls. ^^ Here's a photo of my RingDoll Petter ( named Jaryth) with Mari and Neris on his arms.

 

 

Yeah, there's just something about these Vinyl girls that my boys seem to like. ^^ My RingDoll Spencer ( Lorem) once got rather close to my friend's Sakura and her purple wig left a little stain on his shoulder. XD

She's from Korea, from a small company named Aria Doll, 14yrs Elegance series Narvy (SD size, very similar to a DD)

 

 

BTW. I love the anime "Aria" so You can probably guess why the name

My beloved Mado~ Those of you who know me knew this post was coming! lol She just came home this August after a 2 month wait. She's an SD FCS F32 on the Suwarrico body, high heel feet, and Zoukeimura GE-29 'light pine needle green'.

 

I add so much detail here because I literally poured over the decisions until I got to the sumika- it's terribly hard to pick just one! Now she's at home with me and I ADORE her. I had one of the SD13 standards before and I didn't love her the way I've bonded with Madoka. I'm just going to spoil her rotten. *^^*

The other resin in here is so beautiful! I'm hoping Averis will add pics of his girls too- I love Jamie. I hope that was actually her name and I am not making that up in my head. I thought both Lornia and Charlotte look amazing and I adore DOD Shall- she is one of the most beautiful dolls I have ever seen!

 

I don't know much about the dolls from Korea but I hear that they have exceptional quality- I would love to learn more about them! She's a beautiful girl~

Undine and Mado are so lovely! I forgot to mention before that aeris's girl is also gorgeous! Jaryth is dashing as well!

I have two resin girls. Both of them are from Dream of Doll.

 

Jaimee was my first BJD. She's a DoT E-an. It took me weeks to decide on her. I bounced between so many BJD sites. I loved DoD, but as much as I was hooked on BJDs and thought they were cool, I didn't want to spend that much. However, eventually I caved in and figured I should get the one I wanted the most, and I'm glad I did. She was a great first doll and I'm really glad I have her. She's my "girl next door" -- down to earth and sweet.

 

 

My second is Alexis, a DoT Calla. After I got Jaimee, I thought that would be it. I bought her clothes and such and figured I was done. But I kept seeing pictures of this sullen girl that caught my eye. Not even a year after Jaimee, I ordered her. I haven't had time to really give her much attention, though, because soon after I got in to Dollfie Dreams. She's sorta the demanding, independent, bad girl of the two.

 

All of your dolls are so preatty . I have Volks Sweet Dreams Nono and SD Nono (my dream twins ) and FCS MSD F-18. I have photos on my flickr, I will add some pictures here when I will have 20 posts

Asa is a basic head sculpt, and if you request the Tokyo Story face-up Iplehouse will do custom face-ups. She just won't come with that wig or outfit is all. ^^

I didn't realize that they would do a custom face up. I guess it's a moot point now anyway, since I have no money or room for any more dolls -- and if I did, I would probably get another DD.

 

But, hmm, interesting . . .

I used to have a lot more, but I sold a lot of them for my dollfies.

I had no intention of ever owning a resin BJD, until one day a couple months ago, I followed Averis's link to the E-An page on DOD's site, and immediately knew I had to buy her.

 

It's been exactly a month since I ordered, so she should be shipping soon, hopefully.

Congrats on E-AN. I also like her, but I have too much on my wishlist now!

I don't have any but there are some I really love! I like Soom The Gem dolls the most: I love the fantasy extra parts!

I have asked to some friends into bjd communities to find one Nephilim for me... But she is so rare and precious! The price for her complete set (head with make-up, full body and extra parts with brushing, wig, eyes and full outfit) was more than 1200 dollars TT_TT

I own 3 RingDoll Teens and I can verify that they are amazing in person. Because of their slender build, they look quite nice in comparison to DDs.

Here's my gorgeous Alisanne (SD16 Daria) towering over Lily and Aerie (who are both wearing high heels!)

 

 

And Aerie with my little Yukiko, who is a MSD Miisha kit that my sister completed for me. I love her little wing ears and her big eyes. Since this photo was taken I've replaced her eyes with F-type animetic eyes in green and they suit her much better and she doesn't look so bug-eyed - LOL

 

The price of resin dolls is a bit prohibitive which is why I'm trying not to get too many of them. At some point I do want to get a male resin doll as a companion for Alisanne - although he'll have a harem of DD girls too!

Leah's Romantic Nudes: Repost from an older shoot I did last year. Never before posted here.

 

It's been a while since I had to make a new topic specifically for the reason of nudity. This is much more tame than Supergirl, though. I took some pics of my Leah last night, and I found my favorites to put them together in a full photo shoot. I took pics of each pose in two ways: low light and full light. I decided to go with the low light versions because they looked more romantic.

I decided to do a sequel to my Leah's Romantic Nudes set from last year. I wanted to make Leah look sexy and seductive . She's wearing red stockings in order to look more sensual this time, as opposed to just romantic like last time.

I tried a couple new things with posing in the last two pictures. I probably should have gone with a bit less of an angle in the raised leg shot, but I'm still happy with it. Getting Leah to stay on the arm of the chair wasn't too difficult, either. In the last picture, Leah's supported by her right leg and her arm on the arm of the chair. I wasn't expecting that pose to be so sensual, but it sure ended up fitting the theme of the pictures!
