Greetings from Finland! Moi!

Hello everybody!

 

Long time lurker here, who finally decided to start posting as well. Writing in english is very hard for me and I constantly worry I make mistakes. That's the reason for me not posting anything until now, even though I signed up here well over a year ago.

I'm a 30 year old doll collector from Finland. I've been wanting a Dollfie Dream for many years now but never could afford one. When I heard that the DD Hatsune Miku would be a preorder project and I would have almost a year to save for her, I knew this was my chance (I'm also a Miku fan, so I wont even change her character)! I know DDS M.O.M.O. was a preorder as well, but I didn't know that until after the fackt. I was very upset because I wanted that doll so badly.

 

Anyway, I'm very happy to be here and I love watching pictures of your beautiful girls! Will post pictures of my Miku too when she arrives. Soon, I hope. This waiting is killing me!

Hi & welcome to the Dollfie Dream forum. Miku should be quite happy coming home to you soon. Waiting...ugh..there's no getting around it with the new releases. Momo is still available from several second-hand used market sources, so you still have a chance for her. Your English is fine, and even with some spelling or grammar mistakes, most people will be able to understand what you're writing here. I think that as you post more often, your confidence will grow. You'll feel more like a contributor to the community that shares your DD interests. Also, your opportunities to get to make some friends will increase, so relax and enjoy yourself!

Theoretically miku shouldnt be too far away, since there was that post of them starting packing prep on Volks'es miku site.

 

But I wouldnt worry about the odd typo too much, plenty of us non-english natives to go around..

Miku is really cute. Hope to see pictures of her when you get her. Did you order her alternative outfit too? I think it's interesting how sometimes Miku has green hair and sometimes blue.

Maarit: Yes, I ordered the Senbonzakura outfit too. I love that song and I love that outfit! I really hope they'll make more of Mikus official outfits from the games and conserts. Looking forward to the "Mikuzukin" (Miku as Little Red Riding Hood) outfit that Volks announced.
