baldylox Posted September 5, 2014 2 weeks ago we had a big get together at my aunt and uncles beach house for my b-day. All the local peeps came and so did some friends from Charlotte so it was a really nice turnout. We cooked out, had sweets and took lots of pics out on the beach... a very good time for sure. So here's pics of the event! Under the beachhouse it was shady and cooler than out in the sun so we set up camp there. Our local group has quite a large diversity of dolls and we enjoy seeing all types too. So our meets usually have a nice mix of DD and resins. And thank you! Happy Birthday! I bet you have some really awesome beaches and other cool landscapes down there! And you don't need a big group of people to go out and have fun! One or two other people besides you is all you need for a meetup. It's all about hanging out and having fun, not how many people show up. Is it scary with all that sand taking your doll to the beach??? Nah, DD's are easy to clean off so if they do get sand in them, you can just take them apart and wash them off with warm water. I would say that Yukino was the model of the day but I really like the shots of Mamimi and how the wind was blowing her hair around. It brings out a lot of realism. Yay! I love my Yukino and I thought she looked great in that bikini set. But you're right about Mamimi and her hair.... it was too cute how she tried to keep it out of her face without much success.
