I finally got one!

Yay! Thanks to one of my main enablers, Kymaera, I was finally able to adopt one of the VMF50 girls! I got a Nao in tan skin with full body blushing off ebay for a very good price. She arrived today and I'm so happy with how she looks!

 

But....

 

I do have some issues.... Mainly, she's missing her left elbow cover. And she doesn't have the boobs I want either. That's not a huge deal at the moment tho.

 

This brings me to my questions tho.

 

1) I was pointed to this website to get the chest I want and this is the set:

I'm sorry to say, the news I have isn't very good. Yamato, now Arcadia/Angel Philia, have never been very good about supplying replacement parts. The couple of times the parts have been "stocked", the bust/abdomen parts sold out very fast (in less than two days). My guess is that if they did make these replacement parts plentiful, people would buy the busts and abdomen vinyls and put them on stock Obitsu 50cms, thus getting nearly the same look for about 15,000yen less than the Angel Philia price. Your best bet is to stalk Yahoo Japan Auctions as they do come up on occasion, but the sellers are usually asking for a premium price.

 

2) Where do I get an elbow cover in tan skin from? I couldn't find any listings on the Angel Phillia site for those pieces. Can I get them from Parabox or Obitsu in tan? I don't think they have that color choice do they?

The elbow cap is a skeleton part, actually part of the elbow joint assembly. Yamato sold tan skin skeleton parts briefly before they went belly up and became Arcadia. Since then I have not seen any tan skin skeleton parts offered. To compound your problem the tan skin is an exclusive Yamato/Angel Philia color and only available through them. Though Obitsu manufactures the Angel Philia bodies they do not sell spare tan skin parts. Your best bet is to buy a replacement 50cm elbow joint (from the retailer Parabox) and use one of the caps as a replacement. You can paint the cap to match the rest of the joint assembly. Since the cap doesn't rub against anything (unlike other elements of the elbow assembly) you won't have to worry much about the paint rubbing off.

Thank you! I agree that the hotness is what first drew me towards them. But I really love the face on Nao... she looks sweet but can be a little sexy and even mischievous depending on the angle of photos.

That's what I was afraid of.... being an exclusive color for an exclusive line of girls. But like you said, getting a regular skin one from Parabox and having it either painted or dyed sounds like the way to go. I even thought about getting one and putting it on her as is to simulate a "birth mark" of sorts. Not sure what I'll do but I can't have her go without an elbow cover for long as it bugs me to no end.

I think I've decided on a name for her. It came to me yesterday when I was putting shoes on her. It's Hikari.

The wig she has on didn't come with her, it's an extra my girlfriend has for one of her resin girls. I like it on her for now. As for the clothes she's wearing, that's a Volks MDD set! I'm amazed it fits her so well! The denim shorts WERE a little difficult to get over those thighs tho.... those wonderful thick thighs....

She came with two sets of hands, these gripping ones and the regular defaults. Both have painted nails which I really like.

She's a tan skinned girl and she has been blushed. It's not overly done either which I like better.

She also came with these eyes. I don't mind them but I think I may change them out for some blues or greens in the future. I also love her faceup, it's simple but very pretty.

So there she is! I'm super happy with her and even tho she isn't setup like I want her right now, in time she'll be the vision I want. But she's still awesome as she is and I'm lucky to have her. A huge thanks ( I think ) to Kymeara for tipping me off about her!

Thank you! That turd Kymeara is VERY good at enabling and he's sent me TONS of photos of Rinrin along with almost every sale that's come up for her default version, Nao. That constant barrage did take it's toll tho.

 

And he can't really say he's gotten me over the 30 mark on DD girls for two reasons. One reason is that Mirai isn't an actual DD so she doesn't *really* count towards the 30 DD's. With that reasoning, neither will Hikari!

 

Reason number two? I'm at 30 actual DD girls already and HE didn't get me to go over that number. Even if he counts Mirai towards an end goal of 30, Hikari didn't send me over the 30 limit I set for myself..... someone else did.

Yeah I figured it was needed for support. I did find the replacements of the entire elbow joint on the Parabox site:

It's a pair of the whole joint including the caps so when I get them, I'll be covered in case of any breakage in the future of those joints. I'll order those soon.

I have seen the Type G busts a couple of times on YJA, but have yet to see the two you've linked to. They are still relatively new and I don't think there were that many "spares" made. I will certainly let you know If I see anything.

Yeah, yeah. I knew it was inevitable that I was going to get a VMF girl eventually. But it's not really all your doing... altho having so many awesome pics of your Rinrin to shove in my face did help things along. Now I just need some new eyes for Hikari and that chest and we'll be doing great!

Your query prompted me to do an updated MADh Vinyl cast picture. It doesn't happen very often because it takes a while to set them all up. Most of them don't use the metal plates and some stand better than others with their various shoes (many heels). This took about 3 hours without playing "dominoes". The picture is too big to display properly in the forum so I linked to it.

You probably wanted to see more "body" shots. It's not all of them, but a lot of different body types.

Anna Marie Star (VMF Type B), Hyacinth (VMF Type B), Sapphire (VMF Type D), Anna Marie (VMF Type A), Rhiani (VMF Type E tan), Diamond (VMF Type F)

 

Fu (VMF Type B) has the original Type B thighs, as compared to Anna Marie Star and Hyacinth above, which have Type D and Obitsu stock thighs respectively.

I totally agree that the Obitsu/VMF/Azone bodies are awesome for posing on their own. I used to have 3 MDD girls on the original bodies from Volks but after many recommendations from a good friend about the Obitsu 40cm body, I got one to test out and fell in love with it. Now I only have 2 MDD bodies out of 6 of that size girl.

 

I managed to find some more eyes to fit my Hikari as well as a different wig. I should have some pics of her up soon to share here.
