Deux Silences Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) I got my Rise off of the Den of Angels marketplace for an amazing price. She came with everything in her fullset but the wig. I am so incredibly happy with my new girl. My wishlist is now empty... Never thought that would happen. I just love her so much! Took a few quick shots: (^ The result of me playing around on LINE Camera...) I decided, her name full name will be Eliza McDermott. She's a wonderful addition to my little family. :D Thanks for looking! Updates: Even more updates: Ahhhh I love her so much. > w < Edited October 14, 2014 by Guest nope not today _(:3 」∠)_

-Mei Posted September 14, 2014 Congratulation, Rise is love And I see that you already pierce her ear. Did you use a pin vise? I had bad experience with Sakuya's one They come out uneven, which doesn't really affect the appearance but still bug me. There's a dot on her earlobe for piercing, but how do you know where it will come out? As in, how do you know which angle to hold the pin vise so that it align perfectly 90 degree? >_>
Deux Silences Posted September 14, 2014 Thank you! Yes, Rise is love~ I asked my dad how he pierced her ears, and he said he used a hemming needle (heavier than a sewing needle) and a pair of needle-nose pliers. 1. Hold the needle with the pliers so that there's about a quarter of an inch distance between the pincers and the surface of the ear. You'll have to eyeball the angle so that it looks perpendicular. 2. Push the needle point in a little bit at first, checking the angle as you go. If it's not to your liking, you can take it out, adjust, and try again. 3. Once you get it 90°, pull the plier pincers up another quarter-inch on the needle and push harder from there. The vinyl is rather hard, so you might need some good old-fashioned force. Once you think it's deep enough, put in the earrings and see if they hold. Keep pushing with the needle if you need to. Hope this helps somewhat. Good luck in the future with ear-piercing, and don't let that one time get you down! ^^ nope not today _(:3 」∠)_

I think i will hold it off for now, since i'm not that crazy about Rise's earing. She needs something...flashier xD Golden cross for example?
