Characters you would like to see as Dollfie Dreams

You can call me crazy, but I'd give a kidney for my dancing husbando (Fire Emblem Heroes festival inigo) I know there's no way, but a girl can dream

(I dream of commissioning that outfit for cosplay purposes whenever I finally get a male doll that could wear it...) Precious dancing son/husband~ I wonder if Fire Emblem DDs can be a thing.. even outfit sets would be nice though I could do without some of the more questionable designs of some warrior classes.

 

And I hope I'm not getting too complacent since it's not a completely sure thing but I really hope Volks rolls out some SideM DD guys sooner than later! Anyone from Dramatic Stars or Jupiter would make the most sense.. and based on all of the Kaeru merch being released Pierre could be a solid and adorable choice on DDS B body too!

As someone allergic to most idol media I was pleasantly surprised how much I actually enjoyed SideM, although its because they're mostly actually adults for once (I just get so sick of all the teenagers in anime the older I get 8')). I think its got a semi-decent chance of DDs since Volks already have the IdolM@ster license and all. It'd be cool to see.

 

(and of course I end up liking Kaeru a whole lot despite my 'thank god for adults' statements, look I got a weakness for blond princes;;)

Hey fellow FEH comrade )/ *highfive* (I didn't actually marry him in awakening / fates YET (i mean, marrying the children is just kinda weird... :VVVVV but he totally my husbando in Heroes AHA). I would also love his merc outfit (and if they made that, they should ALSO totally make Severa/ Selena's outfits, so we can have adorable matching mercenary outfits I also wouldn't mind either of Olivia's outfits (or an Olivia DD of course! have you married her to Henry ever? they're hilarious ).

There's next to no chance for this, especially since they'd have to make a new body, but I'd like to see Cinnabar or Dia from Houseki no Kuni.

I love Houseki no Kuni so damn much and I'm a)so glad it got an anime and more people talking about it and b)not the only one who thinks about the logistics of a doll 8') because it would be really difficult, and I don't expect anything official, although there has been at least one Phos figure announced so I hope to see more. I swore off nendoroids now but tbh I think I'd have to make an exception for a Phos if it ever happened. Especially if they really glittered!

I did kind of think of sticking a boy's chest onto a DD3 or something but dem hips are less of an issue than the gem hair. It'd be a hell of a project, that's for sure....the one I hope someone else extremely skillful attempts so I can admire it instead of having to do it myself 8') (as fun as playing dressup with Phos would be)

I know it's been mentioned before, but I'd LOVE a Kaito. He's honestly the only other character doll I'd buy atm. I'm hoping he's the next vocaloid that they do after Luka!

I had the same thought about the chest-lower body hybriding as a possibility.

Possibly molded silicone would work for the hair, if one could find a material (or mix of materials, more likely) that could give the crystalline effect. I could have sworn Ringdoll had a resin with hair like that but I can't find her with a cursory search.

I'm sure cast resin à la SiO2 1/4 and 1/6th BJDs would work, but how you'd actually get it on the head (and I doubt you would be able to remove it after) is beyond my knowledge. All of this means, sadly, it's very unlikely it'd be commercially viable, but it does sound like a hobbyist with either crazy skills or the funds to commission those with said skills could pull it off.

Heck, it'd be amazing to see Volks do a one-off, even.

Now that I've seen a teaser image of Sailor Moon... I'd love to see the Outer Senshi...

I’m surprised they haven’t done the Madoka Magica girls yet. It’s probably pretty unlikely now since the hype for it has died down quite a bit, but even so, I feel like the DDP model would be perfect for all of them (but with differing bust sizes of course )

Another reason they probably will never do the PMMM girls is that Azone has already covered them. Although personally, I don’t see Azone dolls as worth the same price of a DD, so I think the girls would still be popular in DD form. :p

However!

They also mention that there will be a survey open to people going to Dolpa for what Fate-related merchandise you want from them next. (note that it says merchandise and not DDs specifically, remember Volks does model kits too) I would hazard a guess that a lot of people are gonna ask for those two in DD form and to stop teasing us with them already... (well, that and /Stay Night's Rider. Frankly I'm surprised she isn't a DD already. Same with Tamamo!)

Sigh, too far from home for me to go. They really need to rerelease Prisma Illya. Watching the anime for the 1st time right now and just love the character. But $1500+ for a MDD aftermarket is just too rich for my blood. More like $1200 for her complete set and school outfit and I'll take right now.

I would really love to see Mash from FGO as a DD... and also both the boy and girl MC options.

 

Lastly I would die for an Astolfo, but mooostly Mash and FeMC/Gudako. They'd be so cute ;-;

OMFG, I would want an Astolfo DD as well. But Mash would most likely be released too since Jeanne and Artoria are already out. Yes, let their be Gudako, also Hakunon

I also really want to see Medusa! The wig and outfit would be an absolute nightmare but she'd be worth it. Aside from that, I want to see more guys in general. Especially more masculine looking guys.

I'm sure it's been said already, but I'd love to see some Kane colle girls come from volks!

 

Could you imagine the price tag on one of these if she came with weapons and armour? Especially if they went all out and did a damaged version as well?

Seeing the DD male body, I think Astolfo would be a great choice for Volks (and he has a cute design, which is a major plus).

 

I'm also hoping for Proto Saber as a DD. It would get pricy, but I'd love to see his armour and sword.

Yes! Card Captor Sakura....I was watching it last night (just restarted it after like 15 years) and thinking she'd make the cutest MDD!

Want to see more sailor soldiers (especially Sailor Neptune ) and other variations of Jeanne d'Arc - Alter and Santa

I'm another for Sakura and Syaoran. My boyfriend loves CCS and has said that he'd be up to get a Sakura DD and I certainly wouldn't mind another boy, so I'd get a Syaoran. He's not at all into merchandise of any kind, so I thought it was surprising that he'd be any form of interested in the thought. I'm not familiar with the series, but I'd love to have an IRL DD buddy

I think it would be really cool to see another Chobits Chii doll! I don't think Chobits is particularly popular in Japan, so demand might not be there, but it would be really interesting to see a modern DD of her, considering IIRC the Dolpa Chii was kind of like the proto-DD.

 

Or maybe just a re-release of the original. Yeah, I think I'd just about die for that.
