Characters you would like to see as Dollfie Dreams

I don't think I'd be able to resist if Volks made a Cardcaptor Sakura doll. Especially if they made a few of those adorable outfits to go with her! Usually I wouldn't go for a character using the smaller bodies, but I can make a big exception if it's Sakura!

A CardCaptor Sakura MDD would be lovely too! And a Shaoran MDD boy,maybe a bit taller than the standard MDD girl body.

Oh yes, please! I'd love to see a Chobits/Chii doll up for pre-order Re-release would be fine with me, too - although a more modern adaption would also be interesting to see.

She is by far one of the coolest dolls from Volks that I've seen! Her ears actually open and close, are removable (though they leave a giant hole) and are attached via the body stringing! She was one of the first BJD I'd ever truly loved and NEEDED but sadly not likely to happen as I can't imagine spending 1k+ on a doll that will likely be yellowed lol, but I'll settle for dreaming of a remake or making my own with the DDH01 and some custom ears.

 

Her faceup is very simple just like most of the early dolls, but for her it's so incredibly effective at portraying the whole robot thing.

Speaking of Chobits... I would love MDDs of Sumomo and Kotoko!

I love the Tales series and would like to see really any character from it made into a DD one day. A Laphicet MDD would be cool if they ever decide to make male MDDs, a Beryl Benito MDD, or a Ludger DD especially would be really nice...

I personally think old Volks Chii looked kinda funky, she didn't really look like Chii to me. To be honest, a lot of the older dolls don't look that accurate, so it'd be nice to see revised versions of Chii (resin or otherwise) as well as Rei.

It's not much longer until Chobits' 20th anniversary, so there could be some stuff in store, who knows. (even if its not a DD, some other of CLAMP's famous stuff like Magic Knight Rayearth and CCSakura got a whole load of new merch for their 20th anniversaries)

I'd be over the moon if Volks made another Persona girl. I don't care if it's Persona 4 or 5, I just want more Persona dolls in my life XD

I can see Makoto from Persona 5 in my mind's eye. Why her specifically? Idk.

I would die for a Kasane Teto Dollfie Dream. First she got a nendoroid and now she’s getting her first official scale figure this year. I’d like to believe a DD isn’t too big of a dream.

That's an AWESOME Chii. I wonder what headsculpt they used for her, that's by far the best Chii I've seen, a lot of the ones I've found look more like ''DD cosplaying as Chii'' and have too much expression on their faces while that one is a perfect balance.

 

I like the OG one because she looks so simplistic and 'blank' looking, which is a quality I connect with Chii as a character. The classic BJD/volks aesthetic also evokes that kind of feel to me, which is why she's my favorite. Just not special enough for me to spend a couple thousand on an old yellowed doll LOL

It really would be fantastic to see an updated Chii!! I agree about the earlier Volks Chii, their old style doesn't appeal to me very much.

 

It's crazy that Chobits is coming up on 20 years! It really would be a good opportunity to released an updated Chii, like with Sailor Moon's 25th anniversary. I'd be happy to see a card captor Sakura dollfie dream too.

I would love to see a Revolutionary Girl Utena dollfie dream. I know Obitsu released one, but I would love to see Volks do one. I know it's not the most popular series, but I always loved it. Also a Madoka one would be cool to see, even though the azone one is quite cute already.

A special tan DDdy, for Galko! It'd love a Galko doll so much.

I kind of hope they release an ALO version of Kirito... I'm not really that into SAO, but I find elfboy Kirito's design really cute. Plus, they had an elf version of Asuna already, so it seems kind of weird that they didn't release a matching Kirito.

 

Honestly, I'd be happy with pretty much any elf boy character. Link, especially from Breath of the Wild, would also be awesome!

I'm sure I won't be the first to say this but I would LOVE (and my wallet would hate) if they made CCS dolls. I would hit the buy button so fast for Sakura, Tomoyo, and Syaoran.

Maybe someone has mentioned it before, but the other day I thought of some designs which would make perfect DDs: the girls from the Dead or Alive fighting games.

 

Not their current incarnations. Instead their Dreamcast-era DOA2 designs are practically DDs already.

 

Another one that I thought would be cute was Ellis from Battle Arena Toshinden. The first Toshinden game was the first game I bought with my Playstation back in the day. And the second Toshinden game was in the running for PS1 game I played the most.

As far as customs go, I think Alisa could be painted to make a nice Maria.
