Characters you would like to see as Dollfie Dreams

Here's a custom of 'large' Nezuko, made with DDH-09:

There isn't enough difference in sizing between DDS and DD to need a different head size at all. Legs and arms are shorter, but all the body dimenions are nearly the same.

I think the best solution would be to put some rare earth magnets inside the muzzle and something in her head for it to lock onto. That way, you could have her with/without muzzle without much fuss.

For a current version of Nezuko, you'd need a MDD or DDP. Unless you're trying to model the extra smol Nezuko, which would be like a Nendroid or something.

That’s fantastic. Thank you.

But the thing with trying to put a Dollce type A head on a 1/3 DD, the head gets stuck, so it looks like they’ve got giraffe necks. That’s the only problem with that sculpt on a DD body.

Im probably going to make a tiny Nezuko as a MDD. I only have one, and an working on another custom, so a third would be nice. I have more DDS than anything.

Kind of an old pick, but I'd love to see any characters from Full moon o sagashite.

I wish Volks will make all of Idolmaster's characters. The most character I would see is Shiki from Idolmaster Cinderella.

I was thinking. Now that we have MDD mochi-ashi, maybe Beatrice from Re-Zero would be an option? Maybe she could fit the standard MDD too or even DDP. Ah but it would be nice to have a Beatrice! We have Emilia, Rem and Ram so Beatrice when Volks?!

I’m already making Beatrice. Custom, of course. I’m sanding a DWC-01 sculpt to match her eyes atm. She’s going to be a MDD. I can sew her outfit. 
 

When I bought my Emilia, the lady who sold me it (locally) gave me these eyes, so all I have to do is paint the sculpt and sew the outfit. I’ve got the wig figured out. 
 

 

I’ll of course be making a thread when I finish her.  She won’t be custom, but she’ll look just as good.

Since they’ve already made Rise, I would go NUTS over a Nanako MDD. More Persona in general. I doubt they’d go as far back to P3 to do anything except Aigis (which would be cool) but Akihiko would be my top pick from there. 

Also, because we already have Maria and Beatrice AND the new Higurashi project is on the horizon, wouldn’t it be perfect to have a Higurashi release coincide with it? I just finished my Rika MDD based on Ryukishi07’s original sprite from the sound novel but if there were an official Rika I would HAVE to get her lol

As for picks that Volks hasn’t done something in the same series for, Cardcaptor Sakura would be a great one. Sakura has so many outfits that would translate well into doll form!

I would love to see Howl Jenkings/pendragon or Sophie Hatter from Howls moving castle or Mako from Kill La Kill.

I do want to one day make my own custom Howl, just trying to figure out how... + should i go with the movie or book version... have difrent outfits for all the ver... choices...

I was literally just thinking about Cardcaptor Sakura after seeing the main Sailor Scouts completed! I think she's very possible, and definitely agree with you about her outfits being perfect for dolls.

I love Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and would cave if a TRC!Sakura DD or DDS was made, but CCS is by far the most popular version of her so I won't hold my breath. I'd think CCS!Sakura would be a MDD or DDP, which probably would look strange if I stole her head to put on a larger body in an attempt to make TRC!Sakura, lol 💔:')

MDD mochi-ashi seems perfectly suited to Kanna Kamui.

I would seriously flip out and scream to the high heavens if Volks ever made Joker or Queen/Makoto Niijima from Persona 5. That would be an instant buy from me. No hesitation. 

I would love to see them make a Rin Shima from Laid-Back Camp. She is such a cute character1

I would love to see more of the persona characters into dollfie dreams. Rise’s sculpt was really well made and i think it did her sorta anime/realistic style justice ^.^ Sumire Yoshizawa would be a wonderful dollfie dream.

Considering volks made 2B and 9S i was thinking it would be a nice thing to see Aerith and Tifa from FFVII as dolls. I would prefer them to look a bit realistic like 2B and Rise. I think those two would make wonderful dolls and would be quite popular if done right  i know id probably insta preorder them LOL.

Yeah I’ve wanted them too. They’ll just definitely be a lottery if it ever happens lol. 

Maybe Clannad? It's one of my favorite animes and I want to make a Tomoyo Sakagami Custom this year (maybe?)

They did have a Clannad Outfit (I think), and I think if they released dolls, that would be nice. I would LOVE to see a Ryou and Kyou. 

Getting into Vtubers now and I want a Korone DD. 🥺 

Im sure its a common suggestion, but Id love to see the Madoka Magica girls as DDs!
