Characters you would like to see as Dollfie Dreams

She's got a 50cm by Azone, that's probably why! The whole Magica squad is in their HAF line and also got released as Pure Neemos.

I would go with Film 5, Official Art 1 or 10, even OVA 6. Those seem to be the most "neutral" of her expressions that would bring back what few glimpses I've had of her when I "first" recall seeing her, back in my early teens. (early-mid-'70-ish) What I have seen of her, she's extremely "expressionable",

as seen by what you've posted.

it goes far beyond expressions, it's a matter of proportions. If you compare her head size to her body size, there is a clear difference between her appearance from episode 1 to the final tv episode. That ratio continues to change through the movies and the OVAs, too. 

1st episode:

OVA 12:

IMO, Lum starts out looking like a MDD and ends up looking a lot more like a DD, proportion-wise.

Lum would be great! Since Lina I’ve been itching to see Volks do some more classic anime characters. I really love how Lina turned out.

Also, seeing as Volks recently released Y'shtola, I would love to see them create Alphinaud and Alisaie from FFXIV! Alphinaud would be the priority for me, but I would probably end up with both of them....

 

Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude from Fire Emblem Three Houses would be truly amazing!

 

Might be difficult to wrangle, but Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai'Sa and Seraphine from KDA would look so good. I think a lot of League of Legends characters would suit a Dollfie make-over actually!

I love the OVA 12 Lum, so classical-anime looking. If Volks managed to capture that old nostalgia, it would be an immediate purchase.

Reading the comments they should make at least two versions of her. Both MDD and DD(S). I definitely would be interested.

Sure, why not? They did that for Marisa Kirisame and Hakurei Reimu

Was feeling extra nostalgic today and thought that we need Princess Tutu and Princess Karahe from the Princess Tutu anime! Their ballet costumes would be so beautiful, especially with Volks' attention to detail! We really need more high-quality ballet outfits for vinyl girlies, and this would be the perfect excuse. I think that they should come with pointe feet and regular feet to switch out, too. Aw man... I'm trying really hard not to impulse buy any dolls right now, but these girls would kill my money, especially if they make their school uniforms. The only problem is Princess Karahe's ballet outfit. It's all black and has her back exposed. Idk what kind of bodysuit you'd need for that outfit! XD

 

 

This has probably been said multiple times already, but I would love to see Genshin impact characters! More final fantasy characters would also be amazing!

Not so much a character, but I’d like Volks to make the DD equivalent of a YoSD (a YoDD?)

I saw a YoSD in the flesh recently and thought it was the perfect size, but not a fan of the semi-realistic face. Not really big on Volks’ DD sculpts in general either, but I’m sure there would be some amazing custom heads in due time.

While I don’t anticipate them ever making a Yo-DD (if I were Volks, I wouldn’t anticipate getting much use out of the size)….if they did, imagine getting a real life size Sumomo from Chobits! 🥰

(If you’re interested in the size but want anime sculpts there are some Yo size but anime styled options from different doll makers like Myoudoll and Dollzone. Those are resin though)

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve had a look at their offerings but even their anime sculpts just aren’t what I’m after (same with TinyFox). But the BJD landscape seems to be evolving in exciting ways, so maybe one day!

Sumomo would be super cute. A yo-sd sized DD would be really cute in general.

Since they've already done a Lina Inverse, I'd love to see a Naga the Serpent, Xellos, or Zelgadis to complement her! (Any of the Slayers cast would be great, but I'm biased toward those three, lol.)

I would love to see some more Persona Dollfie Dream! Especially Makoto, Ren, and Yu! I could see them all being super cute (and popular) boys. And of course I would be so happy to see Niijima Makoto made into a DD since she's my all time fave persona girl. 🥰

I want to see Lumine or Aether from Genshin Impact as Dollfie Dream dolls! Since Volks and Hoyoverse can collaborate and license to create the two Travelers from the game. Since the game is very popular and it will be nice! Also Diluc, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, Venti, Jean, Barbara, and Yomiya can be great DDs if possible.

 

 

Kinda asked myself this when wondering what would break bank since Y'shtola got released
and now Utena and Anthy, so I was here wondering what series could screw me over (since I love them)
and have a likelyhood of getting released.

For ones I think are probable:
.Konosuba (I just want Aqua though lol)
.Genshin, Lumine and Aether would be first, they already made Rin and Len so more twins!
we also have JP companies making Mona figures. (I'd go for Fischl, and men but not even gonna list them since it's not highly likely)
.Final Fantasy (depending on what they think of the whole Y'shtola sales)
I can see Aerith and Tifa (would LOVE Aerith, but my absolute wish is Terra! GOD HER OUTFIT, maybe she'd even be a SDD)

in aftermarket for his barely 6in barely passable figure lol

Those are the only characters I'd personally want as dollfies and think may have a chance to be made.
Biggest one is Aqua from Konosuba though for most likely in my list of wants.
Wonder if we'll get any for Kimetsu no Yaiba like Shinobu.

Wish I knew what Volks goes through when deciding which characters to make, they have SUCH a wide range
even very old series or niche ones! From anime to VNs and videogames, and yeah, surprising no Sakura.
I'd love a Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth personally.~

1/3 scale Love Live Sunshine dolls would be amazing, but DD Ohara Mari might as well make my wallet explode. I love her so much. 

Also, I think the idea of a doll of OMGkawaiiAngel from Needy Streamer Overload would be fantastic. I would 100% pay for one, as she is known for squeezing insane amounts of money out of her loyal fanbase.
