Characters you would like to see as Dollfie Dreams

I would love to see a few Inuyasha characters as a DD. I also would love to see Lina from Slayers!

Lina from Slayers happened already a few years back, but it would be cool to see additional characters from that series.

You could vote for her in the Best Selection Polls once they start the voting for DDS.

This conversation (about a work by Rumiko Takahashi, albeit a different one, a character some would consider ‘retro’ and wanting certain DDs to exist) reminded me I need to suggest Lum for the current survey of what characters should be DDs. I’m not even a big Urusei Yatsura fan, I just think she’d be -really- cute (and a possible excuse for the return of the unitorso)

She looks awesome though! I would love to see other characters from Slayers as well!

I'm not much for character dolls in my collection but if they released FFX Yuna I would have no choice but to get her :'D

I'm not much for character dolls, but would love Yuuko from xxxHolic. 

Also, I know that Volks already did Chii, but I'm not a big fan of the sculpt and it would be nice to see Volks do a revamp/update on Chii with their current style/approach for character dolls. 

Something that finally popped up on crunchy (at least for my region), Cells at work was a zany and amusing enough experience that could provide a near fullset of different sized characters:

Nothing really against AA-2153 out of Black, but I just like the short pants, and short jacket design better.

It's quite old now but an L and Misa from Death Note would be a fun pair to have. In the meantime, Kaito and Kazuha are working on cosplaying as them.

Violet Evergarden would be a great one off DD from Volks. She'd be sure to sell well given how popular the show was.

This was a rather amusing announcement considering the historics of mecha anime, but it remains to be seen just how much creative work is actually going to come from Sunrise, and how much the original Big West producers still have a say in things.

 

 

I have a premonition that Volks will release Takina and Chisato from Lycoris Recoil. Takina is already a Pureneemo (character model 151). It would be tragic if they didn't realise what an awesome DD this pair would make.

Both have different outfits (Takina blue/green, Chisato red/white). There is a fun episode involving pantsu, so that would be a fun detail. The aquarium episode is also iconic.

I don't think this show is that well known. Like a lot of people who have discovered the show, I found it through a meme on Youtube...

I’m hoping they make an official Frieren doll, but I’m not holding my breath. I have a custom one made, so I’m pretty happy. I would share pictures but i don’t know how to on this forum lol

My new most wanted is Marin from My Dress-up Darling. She's a serious contender for wifu of the year. A bonus is Volks could sell plenty of alternative outfits for her. The major issue is that her earrings could be quite a challenge for Volks to design, but she just wouldn't be Marin without them.

Outside contenders could be the Blue Archive crew. My gang seem to be well ahead of the curve here, as here's my Ciel cosplaying as Kuromi Serika. I don't know which characters are most popular - it has a very large complement of characters. It's currently a game but this week news broke that it's going to be turned into an anime.

To be honest, some non-Crypton Vocaloids would be great.... There are quite a few I would like to see as DDs.

I have seen many people making custom dolls of Genshin Impact characters but an official one happening would be so cool! Personally I would love to see one of Kokomi or Sucrose, I think they would look especially cute 🥰
