Will do!! I have so many projects on my backlog though, hopefully I get them done before 2025's over >.<

I have made my own kaworu in bjd, but not in DD. His skin is very pale, he needs white skin, not semi-white.

I haven't found the right sculpt for Syaoran, but I have an idea on what to get to make my own Sakura x Syaoran because it seems Volks will never do it.

Jinx my beautiful girl, I think I can make her too but would love to see a Volks DD of her. For the face it will require some modding, I think smart doll is better for the face (unless Volks releases a semi-real DD that has some potential to be made into Jinx) but not the body, the body will be from Volks (the one-piece torso body is perfect) but she also needs to be white skin (semi-white skin can work somehow)

I'm going to predict that Volks release Liliel/Ririsa (2.5 Dimensional Seduction). The anime's quite popular and Liliel is a very popular cosplay subject. Volks will already have the material from leftover Kizuna AI's. We've ordered a figure so we can build a shrine and pray for Volks to answer our prayers. Well it worked with Lycoris Recoil 😂.

If they go all retro then I'd love Suzuha from Steins;Gate. Now that is an epic story. I love her hairstyle.

Ever since they started doing Square Enix collabs, my biggest wish has been for a FFX Yuna. They could even do outfit sets based on her X-2 dress spheres!!!

Honestly, if they start doing any FF stuff outside of XIV, I'm in trouble.

I would LOVE to see a Lightning. A Cloud would break my "no boys" streak lol.

Part of me is surprised they haven't had a deal with Uma Musume yet given how popular it is in Japan right now. I saw a comment in the Lycrosis thread about how they might not be selling well and I saw that Aqua regularly appears on auctions for 800/850 instead of a blown out price. I wondered what dolls would garner hype if not these and, granted I'm not as tapped in as others, wonder if there's much that would outside of v-tubers with the state of anime right now. I'd love to see the horse girls made officially, especially since people already love to mod those characters. I'd love a McQueen personally! I'm curious about other people's thoughts on the topic too. 

Agree with others here it would be nice to have more of the Higurashi girls. 🙂 I thought though that it would be hard as they made Rena as a MDD so there is not a smaller size to have Rika and Satoko as to be in scale with the other characters.

For male dolls, they could try doing Gundam protagonists: Char, Amuro, Kamille, Judeau for the old fans, Kira for the younger ones.

I think there might be a 1/6th doll of her, but I would love to see a 1/3rd scale of Remelia Scarlet!

It's never going to happen but I'd love Volks to make DD Re-l from 2006's Ergo Proxy. That blue eyeliner would be very unique.

The second Chimikko should be Pino from the same show. She's kind of similar to Anya, not least because she has the Waku Waku catchphrase, although I've only heard her say it once.

I think there are some figures from the show available but they're beyond grails now. I guess it's not out of the possibility that the show is remade though.

Waku waku is just onomatopoeia for being excited, so it’s not unique to Anya (although the way she says it is kinda iconic).

i second card captor sakura!!! sakura, tomoyo and syaoran would be such a great addition! 

suddenly had the thought today that the chimikko body would be so perfect for a dollfie dream pinoko... i know that'd never happen since black jack & pinoko already have super dollfies, though. all the tezuka dollfies (black jack & pinoko, princess knight, etc) are absolutely gorgeous, but it does make me a little sad that they don't match his actual art style. it would be super cool to see volks try and translate tezuka's art into an anime face sculpt!! (and really i'd just love to have a ~1/4 scale pinoko, especially since her other dolls seem kind of rare..)

So funny I was looking at the first page being like “wow ppl still remember [insert old anime here]!?” And then I saw the reply was made on 2011 lol.

 

My dream dd release(s) would be…

I guess of newer stuff I like, Albedo, Shalltear, Aura and Mare from Overlord all would be mad cute. I’d love Renner or Neia but anything from overlord seems unlikely already so I won’t push my luck.

I wanna see One Piece DD’s pretty badly… Nami and Robin of course, though seeing them would make my wallet cry. Would love to see Pudding and Reiju among many other gals from the series. Luffy would be a cute ddb imo.

I’d actually also have a major existential crisis if they released the Dead or Alive girls but the series veered hard toward realism so fat chance of that happening unfortunately.

Pirotess and Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War would also be so lit.

Lastly, sky striker Raye and Rose, from yugioh or anything from ygo cuz that’d be so cool. I’d love to see how they’d interpret the style. Yugi Moto as a ddb would be wild (especially the wig).

I definitely second One Piece girls! The body proportions fit DD aesthetics pretty well!

I'd also love to see a grown up Chibiusa in her princess gown along with a matching Helios DDB!

Otherwise i just wish they'd re-release 9S 😭
