Luke's head is here!

To make a long story short; I'm trying to make a Dollfie of one of my favorite characters, Luke Triton from the Professor Layton games. The characters are not necessarily "DD material", so they are going to end up a hella lot animefied but I'm okay with that and try to take inspiration from my favorite doujinartists and the like. ♥

 

At first I wanted to make a DD of his older version instead, but since I fell in love with Illyas head I had to act quickly and started out with lil Luke instead. (´・ω・`) (Plus I've yet to find a fitting head for Future Luke haha)

 

I sent his head off not too long ago to Niya Mia and she nailed the style I want for him almost instantly. ; ^ ;

So here have him in his bald glory and with eyes too big for him even if it was what the staff at Volks store recomended me. (*‘∀‘);;

Now to wait for his wig to arrive in the mail, oh I can't wait to cut and style a wig that's 1/4 the size of me.

First of ahhh thanks everyone for the cute comments. ; ^ ; I've been planning Luke for quite a long while so I'm so happy people like him so far! His suit is very important, after all he's a future English Gentleman. ♥

And yes he is Prism Illya, I keep forgetting there have been a classic released so I always refer to her as just Illya. xD;

And regarding the heads yeah haha, people seem to prefer those for making bishie characters, however it was not so fitting for Luke since he's a shota after all. Though I don't think I will end up using either 05 or 07 for Future Luke, I don't know they are not really what I'm searching for? I'm a bit tempted to use 09 or go with the Luna model from Parabox but I haven't made up my mind yet. ; ^ ;

Yeah I have high hopes for the 09 as well, but I want to see what you can make with it before I decide! C: And yeah I guess? Easier to get a hold of as well. O: I always have a nervous feeling people will dislike me and think I've "destroyed" a doll if I buy limited heads and re-paint them into other characters. I have never seen that kind of behavior but it's a nervous feeling I can't shake off sometimes, haha.

And ohhhh, I haven't considered that before, but I guess with the right faceup a lot of them could be cute guys. (*´ω｀)

 

All I know is that I want to get a bit more grown up head for Future Luke, and try to keep give him an annoyed tsundere kind of face up. (´・ω・`)

I think the Luna head might be nicer for legal Luke because of the smaller eyes. The 09 might come off as too cutesy/anime but ultimately it comes down to which aesthetic you prefer.

yes she really managed to captue a boyish charm and I love it. ; ^ ; Sadly I messed up my first try with styling his wig so I need to get a new one and try again haha.

I think so too? Plus with the differences in style for their faces I feel like they will make eachother look more or less grown up which is a good thing in this case.
