Current value of Sasara Kusugawa

Hey everyone,

 

I'm thinking about buying Sasara Kusugawa for a long time now. Could anyone here tell me the price she is going for right now? I'd be mainly interested in her head + wig. Still waiting for the poll results b/c I hope she might be one of the winning dolls that get re-released but I know the chances aren't that high. lol

$2800-3000 for a fullset is what she's been going for. Doesn't stop some people from trying to get more though.

You should wait until after the Volks selection polls just in case she gets a lottery rerelease! You never know what can happen! If a better deal comes along before that, then go for that.

I could swear that I saw her head plus eyes for around 1800$ one year ago on DOA. Maybe I was dreaming. But I feel with you!

When Volks has done this poll thing in the past, it lasted for a year, and the winners were released at the December dolls party. Until told otherwise, I've been figuring they're operating on the same schedule this year.

A whole year?! That means the polls would be over in feb/march next year and the winning dolls & clothes would be re-released in december 2015? (if they do the same, that is)

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. xD I have never liked the outfit of the first version and I think the new one looks SO much better on her. It's just...perfect!!! Not sure how others think about it but I'd prefer the new version of Sasara over the first release.

 

I'm a little bit scared about her future aftermarket value since I'm pretty sure I will not win her in the lottery anyway. So many people seem to like her (no wonder, she won the DD round after all XD) and therefore there is so much competition.

I wonder too about how hard the lottery will be. I hope they are generous in the number they make. It would be sad if only scalpers were able to get her.

Google sensei said around ~$700. Usually i just divide whatever yen by 100 to get usd

She's already started appearing on YJA, presumably by people who feel confident they'll be able to get her since the event hasn't actually started yet. She's ranging from 90-150k at the moment but who knows what amount the auctions will actually end up at. There's also bound to be more auctions available when people get back from the Dolpa as well. I'll take my chances with the after event lottery in January though.

I'm surprised that there are sellers on YJA!, who have a couple of them. Oo

 

Anyway, I'm really tempted to buy her from YJA! since she seems to go for less than 150k (there are a couple BIN auctions between 150-160k), haha. xD Do you guys think her value will go up again once the After Event dolls are out because there are no more chances for her? Or will it go down since there are more Sasaras around?

 

Oh, and I also saw an auction for the "old" Sasara 1 week ago with the final price of 170k. She was new and additional to the full set the buyer got her uniform as well. ^~^ Hope it helps.

I had to realize that, too. ^^' I had never thought she'd sell for so much even though there were a few BIN dolls ranging from 150-160k and people rather tried their luck in the auction. Thought auction prices would definitely be lower. Oh well, guess there are a few people out there who just don't like the thought of losing. xD

 

To buy or not to buy... :/ The amount almost reached my limit but I fear that her price will be even higher in January. q.q On the other hand, there is still the possibility to get her for almost half of the amount.
