Resin dolls are not that fragile, it's a solid chunk of resin. And they're connected with elastic, so the joints won't break even when turned in "unusual" direction. May end up with broken fingers, for example.

But most owners don't leave them without support and are cautious around them (I am).

Better to not drop them than to glue

Well, it's an auction and ultra-linited edition (one piece, after all).

I think, if someone wanted to make a "replica" then should expect at least ~1500$ to pay for the parts - SDGr body, Moe head, makeup and some pretty dress.

They can, it depends on how it drops. Sort of like cellphones, you know?
