N - "Hee hee, always my little cookie monster. Let's get some cookies then." DSC_2709 by balldylox, on Flickr So yes, another girl has joined the family! But I didn't buy her! She was a birthday present from DeadlyGambit! So she doesn't count towards my 30 limit. Seriously tho, I want to thank DeadlyGambit for being so kind as to give me this wonderful girl for my b-day. Nami was her first ever DD and her first faceup job. I really love the closed eye look, it's really cute. And she also made her 4 months before she made Manami..... so the twist of having Manami have an older but smaller sister is pretty funny to me. Plus the fact that Manami basically worships her one-sama is quite cute. Seeing how things progress from here should be fun! Heh, I'm not sure if she's patronizing or just keeping Manami in line. She knows exactly what makes Manami tick and since she hasn't seen her in years, she has to make sure Manami knows that Onee-sama still runs Bartertown. And yes, Rei and Nami will be probably be extremely close friends. Congrats on ANOTHER acquisition! Man, at this rate you'll need to have your girls in clusters around the house instead of all in the bedroom like you've been doing. Thank you very much! As I said before, this was totally out of the blue and not planned. But I'm so happy that Nami was given to me to take care of.... it means a lot to me to have her join her sisters. And yes, the bedroom is officially out of room for space. We do have lots of room in the new craft room tho..... all of Beccas girls stay in there along with my Hikari. I didn' even know she was older than Manami until her mom told me about it. I thought that was a really cool idea to use in stories too so I ran with it. I'm glad you enjoy it! She has been sent to have her face redone and I'm hoping to get her back sometime next week. Once I do I can have her meet the other girls I have here. Poor Manami HATES broccoli, she asks me how I can stomach it any time she sees me eating it. Are you going to have Nami redone with her eyes still closed? It's very effective (and cute) for hugging and yawning. I actually JUST got her back yesterday from getting a complete redo and I kept her eyes closed. And I'm *so* glad I did! She looks totally amazing! I had Eblktty redo her and she did a magnificent job. I'll take some pics this weekend to share for sure! As for Nami being small and older, it's a great contrast to me too and I intend to use it to the best of my ability. One thing I did work out is that Nami won't be blind, she's just always got her eyes so narrowed it *looks* like her eyes are closed. I've seen LOTS of anime characters who always look like they have their eyes shut until something big happens.... and when they do open their eyes, it's ass whuppin time!
