Single Torso DDIII body versus Regular DDIII body

I am wondering if modifications have been made to the arms to make the elbow joints look less pronounced when bent.

 

 

 

There is maybe a bit more deformation of the hip area of the single torso body when bent compared to the regular DDIII body. It seems like pretty soft material.

I'm assuming that's Alisa since she's the only DDIII one-piece so far, right? Wonder if future girls will have the same bust type. The natural bust should be standard for folks who don't miss the headlights

How does the single torso look if you bend it forward? I saw a video once where it deformed strangely, but they didn't spend much time talking about it.

Yes, jadepixel. That is Alisa's body with an Aoi head. I hope they use the natural bust more often. It looks really nice.

 

foo, I tried bending the torso but it won't stay in a bent position. It tries to go back to a straight position. I remember seeing the single piece torso DDS bodies bent and it does deform the shape quite a bit. That is the case with this DDIII version too.

Ive been curious how it looks in comparison to regular DD. It looks gorgeous and I like the "fuller" look on the waist.

 

I guess the only thing that bothers me is the lack of nipple indentation. On the positive side, there won't be any of the annoying poking through the shirt and if she is going to be wearing skimpy clothing there won't be any worries of a nip slip. It always bothered me when I post a picture and then notice a little something peeking through!

The single piece torso sure is nicer looking than I expected. And that Natural Bust is so nice. *__* I love the shape.

Where can you buy the single torso?

All the single torso bodies so far are special sculpts for each character, so you'd have to buy the limited doll on the aftermarket.

Actually, with the latest Dolpa the one piece torso is being released in all sizes in SWS and Normal skin!

I'm slowly changing my mind about the L bust one piece... she looks great!

The torso/chest of DDS has always bothered me a bit but since this new single piece torso is coming out I think I'm going for it! I guess it's only Normal and Semi White now, I had plans of getting the DDS body in WS for my 06 head but I'm not even sure if they sell that outside of limited editions? Agh, much to decide. So much to save munny for. ^_^;

I love the look of the uni torso bodies. I find that the torso joint on many dolls is kind of useless, so I've come to appreciate non-jointed. I'd really like to nab one for my girl...Are they actually becoming standard now or is it a limited release for Dolpa?

The single piece torsos will be standard. Sometimes you have to wait until the DD Gathering in October to get the parts from the International site. The US site is 2+ months behind that.
