DDream Posted September 24, 2014 Hello there! After lurking here for some time I just thought why not create a profile here, so here I am. Yet another Finn. I've been interested in Dollfie Dreams for several years. I think it was 2007 or 2008 when Danny Choo got one and wrote quite a lot about them, and that's when I also thought, that it'd be quite nice to own one of those cuties. So, some time ago I finally decided, that now is the time to get one. Now I have almost everything I need, but I'm still missing the most important part, the body of the doll. I want DDdy base body with normal skin color, but that seems to be something I can't find anywhere. I've been checking Mandarake, Yahoo auctions, eBay and other stores daily without any luck. Then there's the official Volks web store, but I think all hope is lost, because they've removed DDdy base body completely. For a long time it just said "Will Be Restocked", but then it just disappeared. Once I found one used and a bit stained body on Yahoo auctions, but I didn't want to pay more than the price of a brand new base body. So, no luck so far. But it's nice to be here. Just checked atleast the english side, and they still do have a listing for a DDDy3 full body.. although as to be restocked, which could be either tomorrow, or next year. And what head do you have for your Dollfie Dream? And of course, welcome to the forum Actually I already got the body a few days ago. A used one, but it looks like a brand new. I really didn't have anything against the III, I just liked the way how the original version was a bit shorter. But it really is not that bad. Anyway, now I have the body, brand new Peach Pai and DDH-06 head (2011 Volks painted one). I have most of the accessories too but the shipping of her outfit seems to be taking some time. Pihlajakoto Posted October 12, 2014 That's great that you got the body. I must admid that the point about shortness is good. I like DDS because of the shortness. I tried to change the body of one of my DDS to smart doll so she could wear bikini, but smart doll had annoiyingly long legs/is too tall for her character :/ What kind of outfits are you looking for your girl?
