Oh boy! Another Dollfie Dream boy! (SW DDH-05)

Okay... this is the coolest thing I have gotten in a LONG time!! Please meet Yasu, my SW DDH-05 boy!! (Yasu is short for Ieyasu...)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He's a hybrid on a Bobobie body, and I'm very happy with the vinyl/resin match! SheCow on DoA did his amazing faceup, I believe he was her first DD! I asked her to make him look like Rin from "Blue Exorcist" and, well.... I think he does!

 

He's also wearing some of my swag from Dollism NY -- his shoes and his tie! I actually took the wig with me to Dollism to try to sell it. I'm so glad it didn't sell!!

 

I'm just a little thrilled, can you tell? Thanks for looking!

As long as the resin doesn't yellow, he'll be okay, katnaper! I'm crossing my fingers. LOL! It's a relatively new body. He doesn't match my older Bobobie normal body as well.

I was going to ask what body so I'm glad you told us he's fabulous.

Thanks, deadlegato! He's semi-white on the normal Bobobie 60cm body. It's a very basic slender body that doesn't pose very well. This particular one has alternate hands on it.

HAHAHAHA! Gotta love the 05 boys! As if my Lucas hasn't been complaining plenty enough at me recently to get him finished, now the complaints will only get louder. It's interesting to see how different Yasu & Lucas look even though they are the same sculpt.

His head is a NS and most of his body will be too. Here's a pic to explain (plus the little show-off is pestering me to post it. )

The bust & torso are from Obitsu while he's borrowing Naiomi's WS DDS body because I was just trying to see if the torso would even work. I'm hoping before summer that we will have his own DDS body in NS so he can be put back together, plus he still needs hair. Personally I'm not too worried about the color differences between the DD & Obitsu pieces, if it bugs me too bad in photos I can fix it in photoshop. Most of the time he doesn't go around half naked so that helps too.

 

I need to redo the photos of Ralph on the same body (with a different Obitsu bust,) but I'm thinking of having him on a DD body because he looks odd standing next to his "special" girl and being shorter than she is, but I want to see how the torso & bust look together on the longer body.
