Will Mashiro's defult wig stain?

The title says it all does anyone know for sure??

I don't know for sure, but I imagine it would with the darker colour.

Seriously, it's not worth it to stain your doll. Most dark wigs stain and generally it is not worth the risk. Good luck!

Congrats! If you're waiting for a head cap, you can use Saran wrap in the short term. Be aware, though, that with prolonged contact, dark wigs will stain through plastic like Saran and silicone wig caps!

 

In a pinch, I've also heard that you can cut the toes off a white sock to use as head cap.

One word:

 

PANTYHOSE.

 

Cut a pair of nude hose, tie it off gangster style on her head and then tuck the end underneath the wig! Viola! I've done that in times of 'wishing to display' desperation. Good luck and congrats. I can't wait to see pics. ^_______^

To answer your question, yes. Mashiro's default wig WILL stain. I have seen them on Ebay and YJA for sale with stains on their heads from the wigs. I don't think its an immediate thing like with clothing. But over time I know it will stain. As long as you have some type of cloth headcap, you should be fine.
