baldylox Posted October 6, 2014 Yep, another one goes to get MOAR pretty! Actually, I really did like her original faceup because it was THE first faceup that DeadlyGambit ever did. Nami actually preceeds Manami by four months. So while her faceup isn't as detailed or colorful as the ones DG did for Manami and Miyuki, I still love how well it worked for her. Here's how she looked when she came to me: DSC_2702 by balldylox, on Flickr As I said, very cute and adorable. But with how the rest of my girls look, Nami needed an update so she would fit in a little better. So she went off to The Spa over at Eblktty's place. I told Ebl to basically just make her more detailed and fresher in her look but to keep the same style so she didn't lose the original look of her faceup. And I think Ebl did an amazing job..... I'm totally in love with how adorable she is now! Alas, all my photo taking took it's toll on little Nami so she decided to take a nap. So having Nami has really made me love them even more! As for her wig, that's actually Manami's old wig. It's just sitting on Nami's head a little more to one side than it did on Manami. I like it on her because it's a nod to Manami as well as a nod to her former owner who was originally going to use this same wig for Nami instead of Manami. She's beautiful! I love her.
