Dollfie Dream Ranka and Sheryl announced!

I just noticed the glove on her left hand fits each finger which is super awesome. Then I noticed the glove on her right hand is like a mitten.

Unfortunately they have to do that with the gripping hands since the fingers aren't separated. At least the page for this outfit states that they give you both normal gloves & gloves for the gripping hands

I decided to get Sheryl, I think her glamorous style is pretty different from the rest of my gals. And if it doesn't work out, I can customize her as a boy

Now the waiting begins...

I know I for one would enjoy this. I know I'm looking forward to seeing how she/he will fit into your family.

 

Much of this coming year I'll be spending time figuring out how to sew guy clothes since I'm expecting to have Lucas and Ralph done in addition to Madison, and Tama already needs more pants because Ralph and Rainie keep taking the ones he has...

 

I'm glad that it will be so long until Sheryl & Ranka get here because I'll have a chance to figure out who they will be in our family more solidly than just the few hints I have at the moment. This is part of the DD 'game' that I really enjoy, trying to puzzle through what things makes each one unique, what they like, what they can't stand, and what outrageous characteristics really define their personality. At least with these two I knew from the start who they were already connected to in our household and how they knew each other.

 

Even after so many DD, this part of the process still hasn't gotten old for me (and I doubt it will!)

My subconscious mind is trying to add Ranka as well... but my conscious mind is preventing that so I will stay with 'just' Sheryl for now...

I'm not sure if it's Ranka... But there are two dolls with different wigs. The dolls showing Ranka's outfit sets have different wigs. The picture is too small to see if it's Ranka or not, but maybe we'll get pictures of Ranka and Sheryl with different wigs? I hope so.

 

Now that I've look at the image bigger, maybe it isn't Ranka. The other doll's face looks rounder. Sheryl's outfit sets models look like they have rounder faces too.

I'm about 90% sure that the girl modeling Sheryl's casual outfit is in fact a Yukino, so I'm inclined to agree that they're modeling the outfits on different girls. Variety is the spice of life after-all!

I'm so happy I ordered both of them, Ranka is going to be a perfect Nico

Must admit I'm still on the fence about these gals. I somehow can't get to terms with their huge, pitch black, eyelashes... That makeup style is a bit too much paintshop-accident-ish for my taste.

 

I wouldn't be surprised though if Sheryl is a diamond in the rough. Her face sculpt is rather...uhm...interesting?

 

It'll be fun to see what the face-up artists can do with her.

I'm getting a Ranka but changing her up ^-^ so I drew some styles over her eyes :p

They have Sheryl's military uniform and her white military/band uniform with the flag as a voting option. I would die if one of those two outfits won. (But they won't.... )

I had to vote for Ranka's Niji-Iro Kuma Kuma's fairy costume (R-26). >_< I couldn't pass up the chance to get that alternate curly wig.

 

I'd also love for one of her more casual costumes like R-2 to win! She needs something casual...
