Dollfie Dream Ranka and Sheryl announced!

They show the top three vote-getters (in no particular order) for each of the two girls, from the outfit poll that was conducted. Then at the bottom they announce that the Sheryl Naval Uniform and Ranka's Raspberry Candy will be made into DD outfits.

the outfit i wanted for ranka made the top 3 (Niji Iro Kuma Kuma), but wasnt the final pick. whew! no having to buy ranka after market. I just patiently wait for Sheryl and all her outfits

I liked Sheryl's holy bride set best out of her 3 , and am super glad Ranka's raspberry outfit won ^o^ can't wait for it to be released

I'm glad they decided to make these girls as DDs, though I don't think I'll get either as I can't decide who I want more lol.

Even though I know nothing about the anime, I'm still so pleased that I was able to order these girls. I have been really looking forward to having them home this Autumn. Especially Ranka. The near year long wait is never easy but it is definitely better than the wait for the Xenosaga girls (our first pre-order.)

Do we have any updates on the release?

As in are we actually going to get them next month instead of February?

The shedule still says payment and shipping is around Fall. So i hope its not before November.

The 07's make up has lips like Sheryl and the pink and orange by Sheryl's eyes are on 07's (only in opposite places). This has to be a make up inspired look. Which makes me want to think they're doing all of Sheryl's faceups or they're done with all the faceups for Sheryl.

Wow what an observation! I did notice that the 07 had a different eye shape than she's normally portrayed with, which is nice because it brings out the versatility of the sculpt.

But ya she really does look similar to her!

The first batch of dolls usually has the payment requests sent around mid-to-late October.

We paid for Miku on Sept. 19 and if I remember right, Raven paid for her a few hours after we received her payment notification. (This is just to give an example of the earliest that the payment could be due for the preorders.) The thing that Raven has pointed out is that Volks normally posts at least a few pics of the girls before payment notifications are sent out. I'm pretty sure I remember that with the Xenosaga girls as well. Raven also said that he received a notice about two weeks before payments were due letting him know the dates that the preorder total needed to be paid by.

 

The thing that still surprises me is that even though the year long wait is pretty hard, the time after you pay waiting for your girl(s) to arrive takes the longest! (Mathematicians, your logic does not apply here.)

I ordered on the 9th december so i should be in the second batch.

So I suppose the first batch payment requests will be mid-October?

After a long preorder, I'm sure there will be some people who will not keep their Sheryls/Rankas. I hope you can find a Sheryl!

I would certainly hope so since I ordered on the 22nd as well, the first moment I possibly could. NOW I'm starting to get nervous. Paying for our Miku hands preorder a few days ago really sunk it home that the Macross girls would be shortly after that. For much of the year I've been telling myself not to obsess over the girls because they wouldn't even be something to deal with until after the hands, but now that it's taken care of there isn't much left to keep me from bouncing off the walls. If I get to stir crazy I can work on Ranka's crochet skirt & jacket since those need to be finished before she gets here.

Glad to hear news that these girls will finally be ready for payment and shipping I ordered Sheryl on the first day so I should be on the first batch. I like Sheryl but during the waiting I'm starting to feel that I don't like her makeup ^^;

I hesitated before ordering Sheryl, due to lack of funding issues but it was resolved in Jan 2015.

 

So I guess I will be in the third batch. Upset as I have to wait until December before I will receive her. =(

Just checked my preorder date and it seems like ordered on day 1 also on Nov 22, 2014 . Seems like I'm in the first batch then
