Miku Arrives! Plus wig comparisons!

After over a year of waiting, my Hatsune Miku arrived today! I'm so excited

 

Here she is in her box, she is soooo cute >///<

I noticed her vinyl smells a little different than my other DDs, I wonder why. Her joints move sooo smoothly, she's very nice to pose.

Then I tried on some different wigs to see how they look. I heard her default wig is hard to put on so I saved it for last.

As one would expect, her teal eye make-up and eyebrows limit her options somewhat. I think only blonde/brown range wigs would bug me.

 

Looking at her clothing and accessories, I have some issues with quality control, but I'm not sure what to do about it.

I dressed Miku in her default and Mimette in the Senbonzakura set. Miku's wig was really hard to get on! Actually, I couldn't get it on

The Senbon wig was easier, though. At this point, I'm kinda out of energy, so here is my last pic for today:

Omg miku is soo cute!!! I didn't know her wig was really hard to put on my miku is cominig in February or March seeing everyone's pictures makes me so impatient!!! Great pics

It sounds like the wig order form is Japan only, which is a pity. My Crimson Sakuya's wig is similar, and it started showing wear after using it for a while. It got easier to put on, which meant that it stretched, which also meant that a bunch of the fibres tightly binding the wig cap got loose (her hair that goes from around the edges of the wig towards her twin tails). It'd be nice to have two wigs, one for general use and one that you can try to keep in top condition.

 

I'm hoping to get a good wig I can use most of the time for her, I'd love those Dollpoint Melon Green wigs

That wig is from Crobidoll Crobi uses beige wig caps even on dark wigs, so they are DD friendly. ForMyDoll does that too (the white, black, and blonde wigs are from ForMyDoll)

Oh wow, Miku's mold is so lovely! I'm so charmed by her, I was really worried for a while, but it looks like I have no reason for concern. Great seeing her in different wig combinations!

Miku is adorable and I think the lighter wigs look nice on her.

Miku really does look different with different wigs on her. My favorite of the 5 is the first one, the grayish one. I think it looks really cute on her. Yeah, the eyebrows being the color they are would be a problem with certain wigs, but I guess it wouldn't matter if the eyebrows were covered up by bangs.
