Obitsu body for DD + face up artist wanted

Hi!

I'm new to this hobby and i have some guestions

 

I'm planning on getting my first DD doll soon. I was thinkin that i would get a DDH-07 head and 65cm male obitsu for him (Yes, I am planning on makin it a Male doll even though it's a Female doll head.) but i was thinking, what colour head would go with that body? semi white or white?

secondly, I am looking for a face up artist (20-40€ would be a good price for me, depending on the quality) the doll that I am dreaming of is traight from an anime series, so the artist should be able to make pretty similar face ups as that caracter.

Even though the Obitsu skin tone is called Whitey it is closer in color to Volks normal skin. Obitsu's normal skin is much darker and does not match anything Volks makes. Some were hoping that semi white would be a closer match to Whitey since normal skin is often just slightly darker, but I think the verdict was that semi white was too pink.

 

Subaru here on the forums is an excellent artist who works in that price range. I think there may be a waiting list though. Her shop is in the Painting subforum. I saw you commented to Eblkitty, she is also an excellent choice. Hope it works out for you.

As mentioned by Jezrah Volks Normal is your best match to Obitsu White Skin, which is what your 65cm body is. Vinyl batches (both Volks and Obitsu) can vary slightly so don't expect a dead-on match. Slight differences can be adjusted with your face-up or a little body blushing.

this is a extremely bad image but this is my 07 boy on a obitsu 60cm white body. he will also be a 65cm but I am saving for that and get the 60cm really cheap lol.

 

I have read that to get the 65cm Ob to look nice with the DD heads his neck needs to be trimmed so he does not have such a swan neck.
