Eustia Posted November 7, 2014 I bought dec712241.gdreamweb.com/shop/step1.php?number=1420&b_code=B20101202054096&c_code=C20101202056410 for one of my DD3s, and they fit her just fine. May help that she's wearing thighhighs, and the socks add some grip, I'm not sure. The suit her just fine, though. Also have http://dec712241.gdreamweb.com/shop/step1.php?number=1174&b_code=B20101202054096&c_code=C20101202055372 for my MDD. They were a little loose, and even though she's wearing socks I had to stuff a little bit of tissue in the toe so they were snug and didn't slip around. Anyway, luts have a massive range of shoes, many of which will fit DDs just fine. Mini Delf shoes for MDDs, and delf or senior delf shoes for DD3. Though you will want to check the measurements of each.

baldylox Posted November 7, 2014 I usually go after shoes from this place called Mint On Card here in the USA: http://www.mintoncardinc.com/dolls/browse.php?toys=shop&BJD=50&name=Large+7+-+7.9cm&cbh=81 All those shoes fit the DD2 and DD3 feet very well. Some may be a little larger than others but I've not had any be loose enough to fall off my girls feet or be too tight to fit them. They also have these in MDD size in case you need those sizes. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
danchiela Posted November 30, 2014 sooo what was the answer about wether a DD can wear heels or not?
Ayuuya Posted November 30, 2014 I've found that it depends on the type of heel/shoe... Shoes like http://www.tatabjd.com/en/goods.php?id=2667 are fine, since you can easily slip their foot into it, it might be a bit loose but that's adjustable by adding some tissue into the toe area. Boots like http://www.tatabjd.com/en/goods.php?id=2603 are also ok -- I don't have this boot in particular, but I have a similar kind that also laces up & back zipper... It might be hard to get your girls foot into it, but you can loosen the laces ^^ Boots like http://www.tatabjd.com/en/goods.php?id=1189 and http://www.tatabjd.com/en/goods.php?id=1203 might give you some trouble... Because while they have a zipper, you can't make it big enough for their feet/ankles? It might depend on who makes it though;; I have two pairs of zipper boots like this... The Volks one fits without any issues, the one I bought from taobao puts up a fight when I try to get their foot in :'D Taobao haul keke by merongie, on Flickr An example of shoes I've bought for my girls... Most are just regular flat type shoes ww The shoes with the pink bows are high heel, peep toe sandals w/ ankle strap. My girls have no problem fitting them, but their toes won't reach the peep toe area. These are the high heeled boots I was talking about earlier... I've tried to put them on my girls but they won't fit;; Maybe I need to put more force onto their feet to get it in-- But I'm not that desperate to have them wear these boots /'D TL;DR -- yes DD can wear heels. Ayuuya Posted December 1, 2014 ^^ I think after 20 or so posts you'll be able to post links& images + be able to get into the marketplace. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what all the differences between SD13, SD16 and SDGr -- I only have non Volks MSD sized dolls. From what I've seen online, DD is closer to SDGr size for clothing, but can fit the other two sizes. SD13 is more childlike than SD16, and SDGr seems to be the in-between version... Again, I don't have any of these kinds of dolls so... :'D ( honestly, I think I'll end up with a SD from Luts before Volks... ) The shoes in the first link should fit DD feet. If anything, it is most likely going to be loose though since SD high heel feet seem to be longer... I have black heels that are similar, but they might be a bit shorter in height.. Either way, they were a bit loose until I put in a piece of folded paper towel to act as an insole :3 「前略、僕は日本のどこかにいます。」 by ⑨miya, on Flickr For example, in this picture you can see that her feet don't reach the tip, but otherwise she's able to fit the SD16 sized shoe... In the stock photos here, the SD16 w/ high heel feet is able to perfectly fit the shoe. On another note, it might be a recent thing but that shoe seems to be available in SD/DD size now in addition to SDGr/SD16... o__o But on other listings it has DD listed with SDGr& SD16..... So it could be that more people have requested another size so that there isn't toe-gap... Hmm. I might test it out when I have more money.... If only they had posted a picture of the DD/SD version being modelled.... TL;DR: DD are able to fit most SD16 shoes, however if you are unsure -- stick to the high heeled shoes that Volks makes... The two that are in VolksUSA list the DD/DDS & DDy as being compatible with the shoes. So you don't have to worry about whether or not it will fit ^^
jadepixel Posted December 2, 2014 Because DD has a very flexible ankle joint, they can wear high heel shoes that some dolls like SD13 can't wear. SD16 can wear high-heel shoes since they have arched feet and stand on their toes like Barbie But boots can be tight on DD due to that large ankle joint, so I prefer to get boots made especially for DD like from Volks or Cool Cat Collection. jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop
