Holiday cards 2014

NOTE: I'm not a mod, but I hope you all feel comfortable letting me host this ^-^

 

 

*NOTE* ALL religions are MORE THAN WELCOME to participate, and everyone is encouraged to send out cards that represent their own, personal religion.

 

Participants will have the option of how many cards they would like to send out, minimum of 5... maximum of everyone on the list (you can always change your mind about how many you would like to send out... but you must send out at least 5).

 

I should also mention, it is not necessary to make a card for each individual girl of the house you are sending to... one card from your girls to their girls is perfectly wonderful. If you *want* to make individual cards, by all means, please do!!! But it's not a requirement.

 

The cut off date for participation is

If you're interested in joining in the card swap, please PM me before (or on) November 25th.

It's a busy time of year, so that gives people a lot of time to put the names on the cards and get them out.

 

Cards will need to be in the mail by December 10th. This should give everyone plenty of time to be ready, and plenty of time for International cards to reach their destination.

 

I will maintain a list of participants (forum user name only) here in this thread, and assign card trading partners to those who opt to send out a specific number... that way we can try to make sure everyone gets some cards 

 

Please feel free to post not only your intent to participate, but some info on the girls you want to receive cards, that way people will know who they're sending stuff too!! 

 

This is open to International participants!! Please keep that in mind when you're letting me know how many people you'd like to send a card to! Also, it's ok, once the list gets going, to come back and change the number of people you'll ship to... since it may get very large... or it could remain small... who knows?!

I get free cards where I work this year, but I need to get them on Monday, so I was wondering too!

 

Anyone have an estimate of participants from last year? Need to know how many to do.

Last year 19 people were in the exchange.

not sure if there will be an "official" thread this year as according to old holiday exchange threads, the thread was created early November and the cutoff date for acceptance is usually around 15th - 20th November ....

 

So if anyone wants a card, pm me your address and I'll do the same

I always do my own list of DD friends for Xmas cards but I'll put my name in here too! I like doing Xmas cards for the DD's, it's always fun to see what other people do for their card designs.

Yeah, c'mon guys, I don't want to have to throw extra cards at my coworkers like rectangular frisbees.

I have one little boy who would be positively upset at me if we didn't join in too. (I was kinda worried that the exchange wouldn't happen this year! ) As in previous years, I'm all in so please add me to the list. (CharBrass is missing from the list in the first post...)

Finally gotten around to updating it. Feel free to chose one of our kids to send a card to, they get a bigger kick out of that than a card for everyone (even if they aren't the one getting the card.)
