Zero3921 Posted November 14, 2014 Hello there, not much to say about myself, other than being a huge otaku and a geeky bartender. I created an account here more than year ago, hoping to get in touch with the community, but due to work and unexpected events, I haven't been able to post much and hopefully I can be more active and be part of the Dollfie community. I had started collecting Fate series figures, and after finding a post on a Saber Dollfie, I had to get one but when I saw the price (and the aftermarket at that) my heart sank. I ended disregarding them, but after being introduced again by a person named Plastic Fantastic, I made it my goal to get any Saber. I am a proud owner of a Saber Alter V2 and my Dollfie collection has grown, owning a Rei Ayanami, Alice Kuonji, Youmu Konpaku and KOS-MOS. I thank Plastic Fantastic for her tips and her unboxing vids. Again, I hope to be a part of the community and hope to make some friends and be a bit more active on here, thank you for having me. Katiazza Posted November 22, 2014 Hello and welcome I think you'll really enjoy your time here, everyone is very friendly! It's wonderful that you got Saber since she was the one that started it all for you. I met Plasticfantastic myself at Anime North a couple of years ago, she was very nice It was actually that year that I decided I would like to get a DD and it was partly her kindness as well as her husband Sam's who pushed me to take the (very deep haha) plunge. Where are you from? I'm sure wherever you are you can find a local meet up and meet some friends in person if you're interested. The forums are kind of slow right now because of the holidays but look around and take part in some conversations, it's pretty rewarding being a part of the community. *Yuzu* DDS Yaya *Yuuko* DDIII Aozaki Aoko *Sakura* DDII Uryuu Sakuno
Zero3921 Posted November 26, 2014 Hi there, nice to meet you. Wish I could meet some folks who are into this hobby as well but I might be the only one who collects Dollfies in my city, or maybe there is someone out there (and some people think it's weird, my family thinks so). I am in the Indiana area, I think I saw somewhere that there are meetups in Indianapolis but I hardly drive over there and it's a couple of hours away from where I live. Miss Plastic Fantastic was really nice, I was shy in asking her for advice because I was such a newbie, but I build up the courage to ask, and she kindly helped. Meeting her must have been awesome.
