Dolpa 32: Dec 14, 2014

The marine sets are so cute. I want both! I like the Idolmaster outfits a lot, but I can't only get one and they're too expensive to justify getting a bunch of Christmas outfits.

Looks like this'll be the first time I'll try to get any outfits from a Dolpa

 

I assume that all shoes and outfits below the 'Recommended Items' header at https://www.volks.co.jp/page_ex.jsp?CONTROLID=SC0020&BUSINESSID=InitDisp&category=DP32&version=en are click-war items. I'm a bit confused though since they've listed an MDD body suit which I don't think is a limited item, at least not under normal conditions, and some of the items are specifically marked 'Limited'.

 

Makes me wonder if the shoes and outfits really are click-war items

Yes, anything not listed as special "order sheet" are clicky wars!

EDIT: "Limited" usually marks special releases, such as a specific Collab Chara outfit

"Quantity limit" is more of a general "we only made so many of these, so it'll sell out soon. Not sure if will make more later" term they slap on most anything else Dolpa released

Oh right! This is the first Dolpa you guys across the pond have to participate in the international click-war. Let's hope that Volks has done at least SOMETHING to limit the server stress.

 

Maybe they're slowly migrating everything to new servers. I noticed some time ago that most DD-related pages, except the shop, have moved to the new dollfiedream.tokyo domain. It seems to load quicker.

Sometimes new standard items are first released via the click-war; whatever they have in stock will be sold as part of the click war, and then subsequent batches will be added to the webstore as normal inventory. I think that is what's happening with the MDD body suit, since it's a new version of the bodysuit (I think the previous version didn't cover the full neck?).

I don't know that it'll make all that much difference... I know plenty of US people who have always participated in the International click-war, usually because the VolksUSA webstore is so awful (since people can steal stuff from your cart if you don't check out fast enough).

I want one of the Holy Night Gifter outfits but I'm sure that everyone else wants one as well. So my chances of getting one are slim. Still, they're so cute!!

Well, I think the fun thing to note about those is the "Two per customer limit" note... either A) There could be more stock, or B) its going to be even more ferocious with the click-war.
