SakuraDreams Posted January 22, 2015 I've heard of this happen too. Perhaps for an day or so they'll do this, then the rest go up for click-wars? Who knows... Payment deadline is: January 28, 2015 So unless someone informs Volks they're not buying, I don't think any movement will occur till then.... Now I do remember there was one case where Volks did draw new lottery winners for unpaid entries. That was a previous collection of unsold stock. They had dolls from a period of several years. At home: DD Sakura Shinguji, DDS Yukiho Hagiwara, DD Asuna, DD Rina Ogata, DDS MOMO, DDS Ranko Kanzaki. Waiting for: Hatsune Miku Preordered: Ranka Lee Countdown to Hatsune Miku. guyngames Posted January 23, 2015 the lottery entries are still on my order page, not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. lol. Volks will hold the status of your order as 'lottery' until items have been confirmed and paid for by the winners- if one is unclaimed then it is awarded to a different lottery entry. There's still a chance even if it is very slim. I, too, won Sasara. Very unexpected and welcome surprise this morning. Are you sure? It's usually been that they would sell the unclaimed ones by shopping cart (click war) before. Yes. As you and others mentioned in a later post, they wait until the payment deadline (the 28th) and those who do not/are not able to pay, their items are reallocated to others who had entered the lottery. To clarify I am not talking about bonus dolls from Dolpa 32, rather, I am referring to the stock they had specifically for the international lottery. When the lottery is completely over and all dolls have been paid for the 'lottery entry' on your page will appear as 'cancelled'. As long as it does not say cancelled then there is still hope for a doll to be awarded to you.
lucky888 Posted January 23, 2015 I read their twitter that they'll notify winners on Jan 22~24 by local Volks stores through phone calls. But, I don't know if this period (Jan 22~24) also applies to international lottery via email notification... So, do we still have hopes (other than "click-war" on shopping cart)? I really hope so...since I'm still waiting for email or gave up my hope....I prefer receiving for the won lottery instead of shopping cart due to my very slow internet speed... The post above actually notes that cancelled orders that don't get paid have a very slim chance of going out to someone else, but to answer your question, no, emails are all sent out at the same time. So other then stated example it is pretty much over and click war is next. They don't have the same length of time as the Local store entries. As long as it does not say cancelled then there is still hope for a doll to be awarded to you. I've never had my lottery entry change to cancelled. I've lost two lotteries before, for Yukiho and Ranko as well as a special lottery for Super Dollfie Graffiti Girl Belle in Oct 2013. Only the last one had the stock be re-raffled but that was a special event for Web customers. In each case they stayed as "lottery" and then disappeared from the My Page listing. Volks in usual cases puts the items up for a click war via shopping cart like the outfits in this latest dolpa. You can still try via the shopping cart when the unsold stock is launched. But it will be tough click war. Still don't give up, refresh the listing for a while because sometimes people don't complete the check out process or their carts expire and the item reappears. As long as it does not say cancelled then there is still hope for a doll to be awarded to you. To my knowledge, only VolksUSA (when they still had lottery dolls) assigned the unpaid dolls to other lottery entries. VolksUSA was also the one that marked "cancelled" on lotteries that were 100% done. And I'm pretty sure Volks International takes all the unpaid lottery dolls and puts them up for the click-war, and there is no second wave of lottery winners. I've never seen them mark a lost lottery on Volks International marked as "cancelled" -- and I've lost a lot of them so far, including Alisa just last Sept. As SakuraDreams stated, they eventually just delete them from your order page, but they don't bother to update the status if you lose. Doll Photos & Doll Jewelry Sales: Follow me on Instagram! There was one exception and that was that one special web event they had in October 2013. There they seemed to redraw people to sell stock which was not purchased in the first lottery. Or maybe my memory is mistaken but I'm sure they did that. At home: DD Sakura Shinguji, DDS Yukiho Hagiwara, DD Asuna, DD Rina Ogata, DDS MOMO, DDS Ranko Kanzaki. guyngames Posted January 23, 2015 I was simply offering up what I know and what my experience over the last 10 years has been working with Volks. Take it for what it is worth or not- no harm done either way. Good luck to all those entries waiting to hear one way or the other.

guyngames Posted January 23, 2015 And we're merely providing the most recent, relevant, and accurate information based on our equally valid experiences with Volks. Sorry you didn't win any of the dolls you entered for, Cauldroness, that must really be disappointing and frustrating. I do sincerely hope you have a chance to buy what you are looking for in the future- from Volks or wherever.
x3Ashley Posted January 24, 2015 I have had my lottery entries turn into cancelled before being removed, and there was a re-lottery once (I can't remember what for but my boyfriend won in the re-draw) So it is definitely possible, but who knows what Volks will do. I lost on both of my entries this time, for Sasara and Lieselotte Luckily a really nice person let me buy an extra Sasara that she won so I am finally going to own one of my grail girls
Arky Posted January 24, 2015 hmm so whats the ratio of us all here won and failed? gratz to the winners & cheer up for the failed ones. also found out that Sasara price worth is doubled and more.... jeeez p.s I also won sassara, Totally wasnt expecting. Gunter Posted January 24, 2015 I think with a rerelease of course Sasara's price went down, but definitely worth a lot. I see an auction at 181k JPY right now! That's still over $1500USD. Sasara's win rate was really high it seemed here, but I had a lot of friends still report loses. Seems Melty + resin releases had the usually really high lost rate. >:
twinage Posted January 24, 2015 I seen a rerelease Sasara running in Mandarake for 200k yen and it was sold in the same day, or maybe in hours.
archeotech Posted January 24, 2015 That's a bit much. o.o I imagine her price will drop to 150k once she's released. Got the impression there was a lot of sasara's made so who knows.
Yukamina Posted January 24, 2015 Mandarake tends to charge more than a DD can be found elsewhere. For someone who really wants her, being able to pick her up, no hassle, from Mandarake for 200k might be worth it for them, though. Shailara Posted January 24, 2015 I don't think her price will remain even 12k ^^;;; It did seem like a LOT of people won her, so at least for the non Japanese market, her value will be rather low. Only time can show. (\_/) ( ' .' ) ( uu)
Yukamina Posted January 24, 2015 If a lot of the people who won her, keep her, it might not lower the price that much. Who knows, like you say time will tell. My Etsy Shop ~~~ My DeviantArt
Kushina Posted January 24, 2015 It will probably drop when all the people from the After Event have the doll (physically) at home and can sell her. I think the Sasaras on Y!J are still the ones from the dolpa. Just wait a little bit until the first are shipped out and watch Y!J then. If a lot of the people who won her, keep her, it might not lower the price that much. Who knows, like you say time will tell. Not everyone participated to sell Sasara, so what Yukamina said is right. A lot of people wanted her badly, I don't think her price will drop much.^^" Dollfie Family: DD Emilia - DD Mashiro Mito (Custom) - DD Asuna Titania - DDdy Sasara - DD Kirika - DDH16 Tan - DD Rin Tohsaka
