The clothes I ordered last saturday, dispatched from Osaka to the Netherlands today

I didn't win my most favorite dollfie

TBF, the chances are equally high it will stay pretty high too because as much as we see a bunch of people won here, A LOT OF PEOPLE LOST TOO. The chances of their willingness to pay is still pretty damn high, because the price range is still rather different. $1k difference is a rather big deal.

 

Also, once that initial increase from the AE in the market vanishes you never know where the market will go. Once she's cleared off the market to just the few dwindling numbers...she could head right back up for all we know. I'm still sayin' a solid price of 180k is where she'll end up after all the madness. A lot of people who entered her do plan to keep her after all. They ain't all sbleepbags like me. 8-)

Yay for first time wins for the both of us~! Having won and now paid for Sasara I am ready for Volks to just go ahead and ship them out

Personally, I don't think so because I've heard many international buyers didn't win their lottery too. So, I think Volks still prefers selling more dolls to the local Japaneses due to easy processing of mailing and/or helping Japaneses to boost their own economy. We'll wait and see how many owners sell them on Y!J auctions next month or later.

 

Yet, not many owners got them and re-sell them. So, a few of them will be on market. Most of them keep for their own collections like me....*Sigh* Why didn't Volks make more dolls to satisfy our demands?

 

Is it just me or I don't like buying a doll from Y!J auction? It's not because of higher price, but rather a high proxy/service fee to pay. It's not that I don't want to pay proxy fee. But, the price of a doll is already very expensive, and proxy fee normally charges 6~15%. I prefer the fixed certain amount for proxy fee instead of percentage. That's why I seldom go to Y!J auction.

 

If someone is unable to pay or something comes up, please contact me because Sasara, Lieselotte, and Charlotte have been my dollfie dreams since their first release...

Also, Y!J is pretty damn awful. I think the proxy fees and double shipping generally take a good deal and flip it into a just "eh," or only "kinda good" deal. Especially if you use Paypal, and if you've noticed their exchange rate is a lot more expensive than the actual market's current exchange rate. Kinda pisses me off cause I've had upwards of a $50 difference. :/

Ya, you're right! I forgot to add the worse exchange rate in PayPal, local shipping fee, and EMS fee to me again! That's why I've never bought any item from Y!J auction until now, unless I find someone who is willing to help me to get by charging standard proxy fee with lower and fixed amount instead of percentage.

It helps Japan to export these dolls, especially with the weak Yen. That's what Abenomics is also about. Exports....

 

 

If you can see the deeper level, it actually boosts their economy with even more. Volks prefers selling more dolls to the local Japaneses because Volks knows that some winners will re-sell them on Y!J auctions for higher prices. Not only did Volks earn money, but some local winners (or local scalpers) also earn profits from selling on Y!J auctions. Again, some scalpers on Y!J also know that international buyers will also want to get these dolls via proxy agent. Then, these scalpers also can earn profits by exporting these dolls to foreigners via proxy agent. Even if some scalpers sell dolls to richer locals, they still can help to boost their own economy.

According to my email, last year when I won Yaya on Jan 23 '14 (and my email for Melty is from Jan 22 '15), Yaya shipped out on Jan 31.

Well today is the deadline for payments, so they'll be shipped soon... I can't wait! The excitement is killing me! >A

When I first looked around for DD, I passed across Mr. MVP Sasara, and I was in love. Than, looking for the second hand market, I was devastated. Like Akira. The price was not in my range at all. And then, both of them had a second release , I'm SOO happy. Akira is going to have a cousin ♥

I can't wait too! This is just like a dream ♥ !

 

That sums up how many of us feel, I am sure. I am so thankful for the rerelease and that so many others will also be welcoming Sasara into their doll families. It is a wonderful thing to see who these dolls become as they move from production into the hands of their owners. Congratulations everyone.

I remember seeing Sasara in the past but I didn't want to like her because she was expensive , until I saw this one Sasara on the rajikaru site, that's when I knew I was doomed.

I can see that all the local folks are getting her. A handful of Sasara's sprinkling onto Y!J in shipping boxes. Honestly, not as many as I suspected, and her price is holding pretty high. 200k+ JPY (upwards of 245k, lows of 211k).

 

I love watching the market move~ Is interesting to see how re-releases affect things.

My clothes order was shipped yesterday but no news on when Sasara will be coming home to me yet. At least it gives me a bit of a gap between customs charges

I sure hope they have some left. I would think a lot of people entered multiple times to make sure they won, and won't pay for all their winnings. Thats my hope but Volks is sure taking their time.
