It all depends on where the doll stock comes from (i.e. which event, dolpa/online/international/local, etc) and how they choose to allocate it internally. This differs due to sales at each individual dolpa event, so every time the outcome is slightly different. There is no fast and firm protocol. As you've already noticed it makes it difficult to tell what will happen based on past experience.* If your lottery entry is still up and you did not receive a winning notification then they've not finished allocation. Though it won't disappear the exact moment they finish- there is turn around time to update the database and close out the lottery information. The online sales won't start until the lottery entries are closed out online. I know it makes it difficult to wait. I do hope they have overstock available and everyone of you waiting will be able to buy the doll you are looking for! *It should be noted this does not invalidate the feelings of others or their observations. They did list it on the Home Town Dolpa Kyoto 10 After Event page. According to the Prisma Illya MDD thread on the forum, people received lottery results on 3/25 (Tues) and then the click-war was two Fridays later (4/4 ~ Sat 4/5 for Japan). Unfortunately I can't find any reference of when Illya payment was due, but if this time notice went out on 1/22 and payment was due 1/28, we could maybe assume a similar window for Kyoto? So payment would have been due like, 3/31 perhaps? And then the click-war several days after that? Giving Volks time to process how many payments were received and how many weren't? So it's possible that, if there is a click-war, it wouldn't be tonight -- it would be one week away (Fri 2/6 in the US ~ Sat 2/7 in Japan)? So, I think Volks probably will reallocate unpaid-lotteries to other new winners because I've heard an owner is chosen for lottery after the payment deadline in 2012. So, she managed to get a limited doll after the payment deadline since that winner didn't pay in time. If there are still excesses after reallocation lotteries to new winners, then they will put these extra remaining dolls on shopping carts. But, I doubt it since so many owners want to get these dolls (most winners would pay). So, probably no shopping cart afterward due to very high demand with low supply. That doesn't mean there's absolutely no chance of an after event sale online afterwards... it's not as likely with the popularity of the characters. However, with Volks you never quite know how things will turn out. I love the changes they are making as a company and I think this Dolpa selection was absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to see if they release more DDs from 'The Best Selection'. It's fantastic to see people welcome their most sought after unicorn/grail dolls! Volks International just updated the After Event page to change it from saying "End of January" to "End of January to Mid February". Via EMS shipping (and mattering on customs in your country) I say 4~10 days. I usually see stuff within 4~5 days. :> Customs is a huge factor though. I've had major delays cause of them. Innocentsake Posted February 4, 2015 So excited!!! Both my hubby & I got our shipping notifications at 2:44 am. I was still at work so when my shift ended I saw the text messages from him Can't wait for the Sasaras to arrive! One belongs to my friend so I'm sure she'll be happy to hear that her Grail Girl is coming home I'm guessing they will probably arrive sometime in the middle of next week if customs doesn't hold them hostage~ The last time I ordered Maki's DDS body it only took 2 days to arrive to Los Angeles, but customs held it for 3 days So hopefully that doesn't happen this time.
