Well my sasara turned up today. After inspection she's back packed up ready to ship to her new mama X3Ashley on Monday.

 

I've always thought -- like most DD girls -- that she was cute but she was never one I desperately wanted in my family, but now seeing her in person I'm thinking she probably could've joined my family :p

Yes, me too! My Melty entry is also gone, but my Sasara entry is still on my page!

So, it means that no more extra Melty dolls on shopping carts?

 

There may still be some leftover Meltys. I think with Alisa and Makoto, both of my entries disappeared before the click war but both were available during it.

 

Wow! That's strange! Maybe they're too tired to pick other new winners? But, there is still no news regarding shopping carts for Dolpa 32. Now, they're releasing new dolls for Home Town Dolpa Kyoto 11. I'm so curious to see what dolls they'll release.

so BTW, am I just dumb or does the date on her head say "2009"? Do these things not update for re-releases? Or is that just to keep original design info...

Aw. :c Well, neither Melty or Sasara are listed here with the other recent leftover limited Dolpa DDs, so I guess that's that. My Sasara lottery entry still hasn't disappeared yet.

 

Maybe there will be another lottery at the end of the year for all of the leftover re-released best selection dolls.

Finally get to put Sakuno and Sasara side by side to see the difference; though her wig sucks, just like most default volks wigs sadly.

I just dressed her, and seriously I think I need a how to-video for her.. These stockings and gloves.. I managed to mess up one stockings...

But it would be better to leave them anyway, because of the staining right?

 

 

edit: did manage to put them on, but it was hard work. XD

My Melty arrived today, and she's really pretty!

I wish her wig quality was a bit better though - but oh well, I'll just have to find a new one for her. (And a new outfit as well...)

How do you go about putting on her hair bow? I tried a few times but her hair keeps getting in the way, and i don't want to comb them again

I don't really know how to say it, but I put half the hair of Sasara under the headband and half on top at the back

I was expecting an updated one with Miku, but Miku came with v3.5, which also came with Sakuya Crimson (2013).

 

 

Also, OMG her default set is so much work. The number of parts aside, there's also the socks & gloves (well, arm warmers really) that are wrapped with elastic ribbons. I spent forever trying to get one of them over her arm, when I did the next arm I just took her arm off and then put the arm warmer on, and got it done in like 20 seconds (･･')

yeah, as I was writing before, I almost needed a tutorial for that..XD I managed the arms after a while, but the stockings.. somehow 1 stocking got stuck on one leg, and I put it off in a hurry, and then I realized the stocking was completely messed up! I had to make the elastic "ribbons" myself again.. (i'm not sure if I make myself clear, but it wasn't looking the same after I put it off.. )

it took at least 2 hours to dress her in her default outfit! (for me)

I put on her default outfit and let it stay on for about 12 hrs, and no stains.

I was worried about the red ribbon and the garterbelt and wrapped her waist and front with some food wrap, so I don't know if they'll stain - but otherwise, it seems like the stockings and the armwarmers are fortunately not insta stainers
