I´m Avalon and have 24 years old,I collection BJD about 5 years (have 8: 4 SD, 3 MSD and one Tiny) and nearly get my first DD (i'm on layaway now) for christmas. She is a Saber Alter 2nd version but I think to change the custom when arrived at home and have money.

 

I dont know how much about the DD but I put all my effort for learn all about they. I dont like to ruin my first vinyl girl.

 

And so sorry for my english I hope your understand me.

It's super exciting to be bringing your first DD home! I'm sure you will love Alter, she is just gorgeous I'd love to see her with a new face-up since it's so much rarer for DD's to have theirs changed.

I'm sure you'll do great with your first vinyl girl I've never owned a resin BJD before but they sound like much more work and seem much scarier to own! With vinyl, the biggest issue is staining (and be careful with Alter's default outfit, it stains a lot!) other than that they are pretty much the tanks of the doll world! Mostly indestructible as long as you handle them with care.

And you English is very understandable, please don't worry There are lots of people here where English is a secondary language. I don't think anyone minds, we just like to keep in touch with like minded people.
